“Tell me you want me as badly as I want you,” his breath came out hot and heavy on my face was so close to mine. I could smell him.
“No, I d-don’t want you. Leave me alone.” I tried to say but my voice came out choked and breathy.
He pulled back and my eyes immediately flew open. His eyes bored into me with such intensity that I could feel it in my core. “I’ll make you admit it one day and then you will be mine,” he said huskily and then pulled himself back from me, turned on his heels and walked away.

Come on mate, you can do this. You got this," I said to myself as Neil and I were standing outside the hospital. We had agreed that we were going to talk to Mr. Walker and ask him to let him see Luke, provided we found him and if not then we were going to sneak in because I knew the room number.


"Are you sure you want to do this?" Neil asked, pulling my attention to him. "If we have to speak with them then rest assured you will ask so many questions before he can let you in to see him. That's just how the man is."


I took a deep breath. "We can always try, no point in turning back when we are so close to the finish line," I replied with a shrug. "Besides, how bad can one man truly be?"


A shiver ran through Neil at that. "I've known him since I was a kid and he still creeps me out with all his rules and whatnot," he answered. "But let's get this done with. I'd like to see my best friend."
