Chapter 30: Goodbye Luke

Elliot's POV

I was at the hospital visiting Luke and I just felt deflated. Why wasn't he working up? I had so much I wanted to say to him but I couldn't because I wanted to hear his reaction, wanted to hear that cute laugh of his but instead he was just lying there and there was nothing that I could do but just wait for him to wake up.

This is pathetic, I muttered to myself as I tugged at my hair. I pushed off the chair and paced around the room, not worrying about being caught since Riley had made it clear to Keegan that we could visit anytime and at some point even Daniel had been over to visit. Things were starting to change but one thing still remained constant and that was that Luke was still unconscious and the doctors didn't know what was causing that since he only sustained a minor head injury and some lacerations across his face which made them have to bandage his face as per his father's request.
