Chapter 60: Tradition

"Are you sure you don't want me to?" Daniel asked, he looked really worried as he looked between us. "I can postpone my work and be there for you if you really need me. I don't want you to do something if you aren't sure."

Neil rolled his eyes at him as he tucked his hands in his pockets. "I already told you that I have it all covered, go to work and bring home that money. Luke is in safe hands," he replied and shot Daniel a reassuring smile. "Don't you trust me again?"

"Never in my life have I trusted you with anything Neil, you slack off with everything. At this point, I trust Elliot more than I do you, which says a lot," Daniel replied flatly and then turned his attention to me. "Are you truly sure about this? I can call Elliot and ask him to drive you to school then therapy and back home. I'm sure he wouldn't mind since you spend the weekend with him."
