Layla  
An Elf’s Tale: 
 
Hi my name is Layla and I am an Elf living in the human world, my life has not always been easy. But with the love and support of my loving Granny and best friends being an outcast among my own kind was at the very least survivable.  
That is until the day I met Alex Night, that day my life changed and for the first time in a very long time I was happy. 
But like most things my happiness didn’t last. 
Now I am a prisoner of the Prince of darkness a.k.a the soon to be king of the Dark Elves. In a very short time, the world I thought I knew is turned upside down and I find myself in the midst of an evil scheme. With the burning question why me? 
Will I find my happily ever after or will I sub come to the wicked scheme of my capture?

Layla,  an Elf's tale

Granny just called us all to come and eat breakfast when Tempest's Mom and Dad came hurrying up to the front door. Alex’s dad opened it at once. 


They looked worried, and they hurried into the living room scanning for Tempest first. When they saw she was asleep and unharmed they took in everyone else in the room. The first thing that registered on the faces, as they really saw Layla’s mom and dad was shock. Then they rushed forwards, towards Layla’s parents’ tears were filling their eyes, at the sight of their close friends and the fact that they were not dead. 


They both grabbed him and hugged him so tight that he gave an audible sound of pain. 


“Sorry Magnus, we are just overjoyed, you're alive we knew you couldn’t be dead. But there was no trace of you we searched for a year after you disappeared.”
