Layla  
An Elf’s Tale: 
 
Hi my name is Layla and I am an Elf living in the human world, my life has not always been easy. But with the love and support of my loving Granny and best friends being an outcast among my own kind was at the very least survivable.  
That is until the day I met Alex Night, that day my life changed and for the first time in a very long time I was happy. 
But like most things my happiness didn’t last. 
Now I am a prisoner of the Prince of darkness a.k.a the soon to be king of the Dark Elves. In a very short time, the world I thought I knew is turned upside down and I find myself in the midst of an evil scheme. With the burning question why me? 
Will I find my happily ever after or will I sub come to the wicked scheme of my capture?

Layla,  an Elf's tale

We walked in shadows deeper into the dungeons the feeling of uneasiness was still there it hung in the air Dominic was on edge the emotions of the elves in the cells we passed were taking their toll. Tempest also seemed to feel the uneasiness. 


Do all of you feel that! The uneasiness is clinging to the air around us. 


 I used my gift not because I didn’t want to talk but to let them all feel what I felt. 


 The slight shock of having my voice in his head made Alex jump at first but then he smiled like that was the best thing ever. Aunty Brie and Damien didn’t seem bothered by the fact. 


“I don’t know what it is, but I don’t feel it as strongly as you, Tempest, and Dominic seem to feel it.” 


“It is because they are Light elves, or have Light elves blood, they are in tuned with the life essence of nature where Dark elves are more in tuned with the raw basicness of nature that’s why we have more power over the elements and whether it is more primitive.”
