The Cave (II)

"First of all, I believe we have to start this out with the disappearance of the Heads of your ranch, Miles and Elijah," Silas said.

"What?" Roman frowned upon hearing it. He was surprised and confused.

Silas himself also frowned after seeing Roman's reaction, "You should have known that. The last time they were seen was four days ago, and logically they wouldn't show up on your ranch throughout the whole day on the day those wolves appeared out of nowhere," he replied.

"Yea-yeah… I know that they didn't come to the ranch on the day those wolves attacked our barracks and ranch, but I didn't think they went missing... though it is very unusual for them not to come and watch us doing our jobs, as well as monitoring our work performance," Roman explained, still in shock.

"What were you thinking about them not showing up the whole day then?" Silas asked with an interrogation tone.

"I thought they just didn't want to come that day; everyone was also thinking the same. What happened to them? I mean, how could it even be possible that they disappeared?" Roman wondered. He still couldn't process this fact.

"Who knows? It's been officially four days since they're gone without a single trace or clue," Silas answered.

"But there was nothing strange about them four days ago. They came to our district normally; they monitored our work performance, gave orders to do this and that, spent a whole day on the ranch, and then returned to the Main Region…" Roman stated. He still couldn't believe that the Heads of his ranch had gone missing.

"What happened in your ranch is strange indeed; the Heads of the ranch went missing, and then around twenty-four hours later or so, a group of wolves appeared out of nowhere, destroying all the barracks and killing all the slaves there. The only thing left is you, who also strangely, was found in good condition despite none of the other slaves could be recognized," he continued as he changed his standing position to face Roman completely.

"A lot of people have been interrogated within these past three days regarding these mysteries. As anyone could expect, no one even knew about the attack until the Officers asked them about it. Among those people, some also said they had seen Miles and Elijah in the morning four days ago when they were heading to your ranch.

And you have said it as well, Miles and Elijah actually were doing their jobs that day; they came to the ranch and spent a whole day there, then left the ranch, but the thing is, no one had ever seen them make it back to the Main Region," Silas added. Roman was speechless, knowing the time Miles and Elijah went missing was just after they left his ranch.

"As additional information, I'll let you know that besides all the Officer Squads that exist, Commander Fenster still has another Squad under his charge, and this is the only Squad where he is also the Captain; an elite and secretive Squad named The Doms, taken from his own name; Dominic Fenster. It is believed that there are only seven to ten members of The Doms, unlike the Officer Squads, where each of the squads consists of roughly twenty members, including the Captain.

Their main task is to actively guard the kingdom through the Outer Region in secret so that The King would be able to make preparation in case some unpredictable and unexpected dangers from anything or anyone come in out of nowhere.

However, since the Ranch Disctrics are also located in the Outer Region, The Doms has another task to keep an eye on all the ranches at night occasionally; but can you guess? None of The Doms was nearby your district around the time when those wolves attacked, and this should've not been a coincidence considering the attack is estimated to have happened around the time when one of The Doms had just left your ranch," Silas added another point with some information that Roman didn't know previously.

"So, what are you trying to say?" Roman made sure as his brain struggled to process everything at once.

"Someone had planned this incident for a long time, and they executed this plan very well. It is shocking that they even know about The Doms' existence and made sure that none of them was around when they executed their plan," Silas replied while looking at Roman's eyes intensely.

"This person could be you, or maybe it is you indeed. Everyone out there would think it's you if they know there's one survivor who's totally okay when he was found, but my friends and I have some consideration to not immediately think that it is you, and this is why we're keeping you safe here, though we don't have any rights to do it," Silas continued.

[He's definitely going to ask how you survived without any injury. Have you prepared your answer yet?] Mia asked Roman afterwards.

[I don't know. I totally have no idea what to say. Shit] Roman responded in stress.

"Explain how it is possible for you to be the sole survivor. I also want to know how did those wolves appear and why didn't you injured by them?" Silas concluded all the things he had said to these questions.

"It's okay, pretty baby. Just relax and explain everything slowly—no need to be scared. Your answer will help us all solve these mysteries. I personally am here to support you because I believe you're not involved, and someone has framed you. I know you're a good boy," Willow told Roman kindly with a sincere smile.

"Willow!" However, Silas rebuked her while turning his gaze to the woman.

"Calm down; I only show him some support. Besides, it is stupid to believe that he is the brain of all this mess. We wouldn't find his body if he were indeed the brain; there's no reason he would let himself get captured and didn't use the chance to hide by making everyone think the pieces of his body are among those we found," Willow replied, defending Roman.

"Yeah, unless he did it on purpose to confuse us," Silas stated as he looked at Roman again.

CLING!

The boulder behind Silas was suddenly split into two by a sword. The person perfectly split the boulder right in the middle of it.

"Uh?!" Roman was shocked to see that.

"Willow," however, both Silas and Willow looked just calm. Silas even told Willow to do something by only saying her name.

"I know," Willow responded as she got up and approached the boulders.

The muscular woman then hit the now two boulders and insanely could make them fly away with only one punch each boulder.

Meanwhile, the person who split the boulder could then be seen standing charismatically. He placed the palm of his right hand in the pommel of his sword, which he had put back to its scabbard. The place he stood set him between the flying boulders since Willow punched them almost simultaneously. But even so, the young man looked so unbothered.

"Let's go," he said, still so charismatically.

[Gulp] Mia was enchanted to see him.

[Why?] Roman asked her in confusion.

[Aaah] but instead of answering the boy's question, the Devil moaned while still being enchanted to see that man with a sword.

[Oop. Didn't mean to moan that loud, but I'm not sorry] Mia added a moment later, but Roman was still confused anyway.

[What a daddy. His dick must be big] she continued to get wild.

[What the fuck?!] Roman was in total shock after hearing it.

[You won't understand. That's a guy with big dick energy right there. I can sense it clearly as if he puts that nuclear weapon in me right now] the Devil got hornier.

[Aaaaah!! What the hell did I just hear?!?! No!!!] Roman exclaimed while closing his eyes. He surely was traumatized.

[Aaah!! Damn you!! Don't you dare to close your eyes!! Open them back now!] Mia quickly snapped at Roman.

"No way… they found us?" Willow asked the guy in disbelief.

"Not yet. But we better leave this cave now," the guy answered.

"Shit," Silas cursed.

"Who's the closest to us?" he continued.

"Gianna," the guy with the sword replied.

[Uh? Gianna?] Roman was surprised to hear that. He opened his eyes at the same time.

[What? Gianna? Who?] Mia wondered.

[Gianna Greene, The Princess. The second daughter of King Carter] the boy explained.

[You know her?]

[...]

[Yes. I've met her twice] Roman gave his answer after a while.

[And why are you surprised? You're scared that she'll remember you?] Mia made sure.

"Alone?" Silas gave the guy another question.

"No, Jermaine and one of his Squad members are with her. We better hurry," the guy answered.

[She will definitely remember me; I saved her twice. It's just… I don't know. With her getting involved here, I'm not sure what could happen to us next] Roman concluded.
