Princess Gianna

After once again covering Roman's mouth with a cloth, Willow lifted the boy's body to carry him on her back. She and her friends were ready to leave the small cave.

[Why so?] Mia asked Roman as the three of them left the cave and took the boy with them.

[Because she has a slight chance to know about you. I totally forgot about her when you said you have to be a secret; I didn't think about her at all] Roman answered.

Both Willow and Silas ran at a blink speed as soon as they got out of the cave, while the other guy didn't do the same. This, however, made Roman frown in confusion for only a moment.

'He's a human?' he thought.

[What kind of chance are you talking about?] but Mia's question distracted him from thinking about it any further.

[Gianna has the ability to perceive past events, meaning that she's able to see the moment when you entered my body and eventually find out about your existence if she's trying] Roman explained.

[What? Are you kidding me?] Mia made sure. She looked quite panicked to know about this.

[I'm serious. No one knows about this, not even her family. Everyone thinks she was born without any ability except for the basic abilities that all Vampires have, such as immortality, super speed, super strength, and super senses. But she told me the truth privately when we met for the second time] the boy gave further explanation.

[...And you trust her?]

[Huh?]

[That doesn't make sense. Why would she tell you that if she has been keeping it a secret from everyone this whole time? Logically, what makes you so special to her? Being saved twice by you shouldn't make her willing to tell you her biggest secret]

[Because I am one of the few people that she trusts the most. I met her twice, both because I saved her from her kidnappers. Well, technically, I wasn't the only one who saved her, but she exchanged thoughts with me a lot more than she did with any slave on the ranch, so we were connected pretty well, and it eventually led her to tell me her biggest secret]

[Hmm…] Mia still sounded unsure even after hearing that little explanation.

[I'll tell you more about it later. Now, help me think about what I should say to her] Roman said quite frustratedly.

[Chill, she's not even here. If you want to avoid her, you better think about how to make her can't catch up with these people]

[Hmm…]

[Is that even the best thing to do? I mean, I'm also trying to avoid Silas' questions, so…] Roman continued.

[Eh, I don't know. Just make up your mind; I'm still mad at you anyway. I still can't forgive you for closing your eyes earlier] the Devil replied.

[What the hell? You said you wanted to help me before making me your puppet, so help me!]

[Don't play the victim. You closed your eyes right when I started to feel that nuclear weapon in me] Mia stated.

[You…!- but I opened my eyes again after that!] Roman said.

[It was too late. I couldn't feel that nuclear weapon anymore] Mia responded easily.

[You…!-] and this time, she made Roman totally speechless.

[You pusiless! That dick wasn't even inside you!] the boy added a few moments later.

[What the fuck did you say?!]

"Uh?!" Roman whispered in surprise less than a second later as Willow and Silas suddenly stopped running. The boy tried to look at what stopped them afterwards.

"It's over. You can't run away from me anymore," Gianna said to Willow and Silas.

Yes, The Princess managed to catch up with them with the help of Captain Jermaine, whose ability was Portal Teleportation. The portal itself could still be seen a second after Gianna spoke to Willow and Silas. Gianna, Jermaine, and one of the Captain's squad members all came out of the portal.

'Shit. We've changed our route multiple times to confuse them, yet they can still track down our location so accurately. How is it even possible?' Silas thought. He looked upset since he did not expect this at all.

'Yeah, she definitely used her ability to find out where we were heading. She's smart to keep it a secret from everyone,' meanwhile, Roman, in his mind, didn't have the same confusion as Silas, as he knew very well how Gianna managed to find them.

'Wait!' he continued a moment later.

'Silas said it's been three days since the attack on my ranch, and all the mysteries are still unsolved. With Gianna's ability, it shouldn't have been a problem; she should've known what happened to Miles and Elijah, what happened to me, and how those wolves appeared out of nowhere. But instead, they're still struggling to solve all of that…

Does this mean Gianna's ability has a limit and can't make her look too far to the past? If so, I still have a chance to protect my secret.

But there's still a strong possibility that her ability's limit is longer than I could imagine, or has no limit at all… and if this is the case, she's logically now aware of all that happened but chose to close her mouth for the sake of her biggest secret,' the boy analyzed deeper.

'I have to be extremely careful with my actions and words. I can't make any mistakes. All that I say and do have to be the best in any possibility, or else I'm done,' Roman concluded.

"It's been a whole day of chasing you guys. Hand him over to us now. I want to know who that person is," The Princess ordered Willow and Silas later.

It had been a tiring day for her indeed. Since the morning, she and Squad Jermaine had been trying to catch Silas and his friends in this semi-arid desert but had only succeeded at night. They even almost entered the Jagaddhita Kingdom's desert area, meaning they were currently at the edge of the Outer Region.

"This is your last warning, or else my sister won't even be able to release you from the prison," Gianna stated while waiting for Willow and Silas to hand Roman over to her.

"Tch…" this made Silas even more upset because he took almost half a minute to think, but that warning was what he eventually got.

"Willow," Silas said to Willow while turning to her. He gave her a code to do what Gianna ordered them.

"What? No… this is my pretty baby, I won't-"

"Just give him to her now, don't talk nonsense!" Silas snapped at Willow.

"But we should at least wait for Josiah," Willow still defended her decision not to hand over Roman.

"Now you know who you can put in prison and who you can't," Silas told Gianna as he looked at The Princess again.

"Wait- what?! You can't do that!" those words Silas told Gianna immediately scared Willow and made her panic.

"Then do what she said," Silas responded while turning to Willow once again.

Even then, Willow was still in doubt. She truly didn't want to let go of Roman.

"Huff," the muscular woman released a heavy breath afterwards.

She eventually gave up and started to approach Gianna. The Princess then quickly gave Jermaine a code to take Roman from Willow. This made Roman's heart beat faster and faster as he still wasn't that ready to 'totally' meet Gianna again, but he couldn't do anything besides try to hide his face from her after all.

"Wait!" a shout from behind Silas and Willow stopped the muscular woman from handing Roman over to Jermaine as fast as possible.

"Josiah!" Willow exclaimed enthusiastically as she and everyone else turned to that guy who Mia simped over.

[Ooooo!!! He's here!!] but, obviously, Mia would feel the same excitement.

[Aaaaah!!!] the Devil moaned so loudly, and she repeated it over and over only because she looked at Josiah.

'I… a-m… do-ne…' Roman thought as he got traumatized by Mia's wildness.

"Before we're handing him over to you, promise us one thing," Josiah said to Gianna after stopping running and standing next to Willow.

Gianna didn't say anything; she waited for Josiah to continue his words.

"Please keep this boy a secret after you got him in your hand," Josiah continued.

"What?" Gianna frowned in confusion.

"You're probably not going to hide him as we did, but promise that you will at least hide his identity from everyone besides any of us here. This is for this boy's good, for yours too, for mine, and basically for any of us' here. You will understand why on your own, and it shouldn't be too hard to hide his identity since anyone barely knows him," Josiah told Gianna.

"This is a request to you too. Please keep him a secret from your Commander and comrades," he added. This time he spoke to Jermaine and the other Officer.

Hearing that, Jermaine wasn't sure what to answer, so he turned to Gianna afterwards.

"Fine. I'll give you a chance for this request," The Princess gave Josiah an answer a moment later.

Josiah nodded, "Thank you."

"But…" Willow was speechless and seemed disappointed to hear that conversation.

"What are you waiting for? Give him to Captain Jermaine," Josiah said to Willow.

"I thought you were gonna negotiate with her," Willow replied.

"Willow, we have no more time."

After hearing those final words, Willow surrendered. She eventually handed Roman over to Jermaine and stepped back in disappointment afterwards.

"I believe you're the sole survivor, right? First, let's see who you are," Gianna spoke to Roman right after she squatted in front of the boy.

With Jermaine putting Roman on the ground and holding him from behind, Gianna was ready to put the cloth off Roman's nose to the mouth area.

The Princess did that quickly and was immediately shocked to see his face, "No way…" she said dramatically.
