Drawing

Mary was trembling while looking up at Lucius. She tried to calm herself down but nothing seemed to work.

She forced herself to speak.

She asked with a shaky voice."Lucius, does your wound hurt?"

Lucius looked at her and nodded.

For some reason, Mary stopped trembling and looked at him, dumbfounded.

"Where did all that strength come from!?"She asked, astounded."You're still hurt but the way you attack him and those merciless eyes, were like...you know!"

Lucius smiled and slowly slithered back to his usual spot before he was disturbed. He coiled up and sat on his tail.

He took out his notebook and flipped to an empty page. He grabbed a pen and scribbled something on the blank page.

Mary approached him, curious about what he was doing. She leaned in on him and saw him drawing a person but it wasn't completed. She could tell from the little details that he was drawing her.

She blushed and slapped Lucius on his arm, lightly. Lucius hissed at her and rubbed the place where Mary hit him as if she hurt him badly.

"Does it hurt?" Mary asked with concern."I'm sorry. I forgot you were hurt."

Mary knelt on the floor and opened the first aid kit. She took out all the items inside the first aid kit and started to patch up the wounds on his tail.

Lucius tried his best not to move his tail from the pain. Mary caught him staring at her.

"I know it hurts but please bear it for a while."Mary said, seeing his painful expression.

From time to time, Mary kept noticing him staring at her. Whenever Mary looked back at him, he would immediately turn back to his notebook and continued to scribble.

After some time, Mary finally patch up his tail.

Mary let out an exhausted sigh. "That's a lot of injuries for a body part. I can't believe how you could still stand."

Lucius smiled at her, proudly. While Mary got up to her feet. She pulled a chair from across the table and sat next to him.

"Can you take off your clothing by yourself?" Mary asked.

Lucius turned his sight away from his notebook and to Mary. He nodded.

"Then, take off your clothes."

Lucius's pupils turned sharp, shocked but he still do as Mary said.

He took off his clothes and there were wounds everywhere on his body-some wounds were bleeding and swollen.

"Why didn't you tell me, you were in so much pain!? I thought she(the spider lady)only hurt you a little...at this rate, your wounds can easily get infected."

Mary touched the wounds on his body, gently. Lucius flinched and pushed Mary's hands away from him.

Mary looked up at him, confused. She was stunned when she saw Lucius's expression. He was blushing as red as a tomato. One hand blocking his mouth while the other was still pushing Mary's hands away.

Mary snapped out of it and noticed that she touched his body. She panicked and ran to the corner of the room, her face blushing madly. She covered her face with her hands.

"You do it by yourself!"Mary yelled to him, embarrassed.

Lucius grabbed the materials from the floor and began to apply them onto his wounds.

Mary stared at him from across the room, her face still burning hot.

When she calmed down a bit, she approached Lucius and sat down next to him on a chair. She gazed around his wounds-most of the wounds were wrapped with bandages and stopped oozing out red blood.

She looked up at Lucius and found Lucius staring at her too. They made eye contact with each other.

Mary blushed slightly and avoided his gaze by turning left onto the table. She saw Lucius's notebook on the table but this time the art was completed.

The art was an image of Mary, herself. It was a drawing of her kneeling on the floor while bandaging his wounds for him.

Mary glanced up at him, stunned. She opened her mouth and closed her mouth, not knowing what to say.

Lucius looked down at her and wrote. Do you like it?

"Definitely!" Mary yelled."How can I say I hate it? It looks exactly like me! And in perfect detail!"

Lucius smiled joyfully at her and turned his head back to his notebook, admiring his art.

Mary looked at him and unconsciously reached out her hand. She placed her hand on Lucius's head and stroked his hair.

He flinched, unaware that she would stroke his head on her own. He stared at her, shocked and suddenly switched his expression into a smile while slightly blushing.
