FLASHBACK TWO

After the commotion that Mr. David had caused, Peter started avoiding Jessie for some reasons best known to him. He wouldn't pick her calls or even reply any of her text. Could it be he started following his father's will? Jessie asked herself. She went ahead to try visiting him at the hospital but she was denied entry.

It was at this moment, she knew something had gone wrong. She had been with him for two years, so she for sure has known so many things about him. She knew every Thursday night he was always at a particular small bar just 3 minutes walk from home. Jessie walks in the bar, and found him on his favorite spot looking very worried.

"Allow me pour me you a drink."

Jessie says as she sat on the seat opposite Peter's.

Peter didn't expect to see her there, but wasn't shocked to see her because he knows she could come there anytime.

"I didn't expect to see you here Jessie."

He says as he drinks the liquor jessie poured him.

"Why are you avoiding me?"

Jessie asked bluntly, cutting off the chase and letting the cat out the bag.

"I am not avoiding you, I am just busy." Peter at first denied and tried to defend himself but had a second thought and decided to be sincere. "Jessie please, let's cut this relationship off."

As she expected, he wanted to leave her. Everything went off as soon as she meet his father, Peter should have just listened to her and shouldn't have took her to his father.

"See? I told you, I shouldn't have gone to see your father." Jessie sighs. "You are leaving me because of your father right? Is this what all your love is about?"

"I am sorry, but there are no options available."

Peter stood and went straight to the bar woman to foot his bills, he did that and left Jessie behind not even looking back or feeling any form of remorse for her.

Jessie felt enough pain to make her want to kill Peter, after having two years of her faithfulness, loyalty, support, and positivity, he was going to throw it in the dust.

Jessie walks into Mr David house once again, this time with the hope of persuading or convincing him.

"Miss Jessie, what are you doing here? I wasn't expecting you."

Mr. David says as he sights her, then he points to a couch opposite him telling her to seat.

"Thanks."

Jessie appreciates as she sat.

"How can I help you?"

"Father." Jessie calls and it sound strange to Mr David because he felt she wasn't being sincere. "Why don't you like me? Have I done anything to wrong you?"

"No, my son is betrothed to someone else." Mr David replies.

"You just don't want me to be with him?" Jessie asks again.

"Yes." He nods.

"Okay." Jessie stands. "I will like to take my leave now." Jessie says with respect and leave the house politely.

That was how her love life came to a ruin, she lost hope finally in anything called love, but decided to get a job in Peter's hospital for some reasons best known her, and she was given the job. The exact spot she wanted.

Jessie kicked back to reality from her flash back and smiles bitterly.

"Killing you people, has not ease my pain." She says to herself still staring at the house. "Maybe killing your daughter would."

She takes a good look round the house and clicks her tongue before moving out.

Getting home, she was amazed with what she saw. Paul sitting in the sitting room with her most treasured thing "the wooden box" placed on the center table.

"What are you doing?" Jessie asks and burst into laughter.

"Let's see if you can laugh when you are in the prison."

Paul says with a smile too and picks up his phone to call the police.

"You don't have any evidence."

On hearing the statement, he stopped dialing and thought of it too. He doesn't have sufficient evidence against her and so the case might be discharged.

"Just wait till I get enough evidence, I would put an end to your miserable life."

"Sure, should I tell you what would happen to you if you try something silly?." Jessie asked but there was no response so she continues. "That young handsome man you saw yesterday would kill you, if you doubt me try it."

"Why are you being this cruel? We had the same issue." Paul asks confused.

"No, we are different. Alex left you for a better person, but me? Peter left me for that good for nothing thing called Alex." Jessie shouts at the top of her voice. "So be careful, and don't meddle in my business."

Jessie seems to giving her last warning, she walks towards the Stairs and suddenly turns back, at first Paul taught she wanted to apologize or do something else but to his greatest surprise, she turned back to carry her wooden box.

Ella on the other hand was getting used to loneliness and having scary thoughts. Everyday her pain grew deeper and deeper. She has to live like a dead because of some people . The pain she held in her heart was enough to destroy a lot of things, at her young age, just thirteen, and she has experienced all these tribulations. The reality was just too much for her handle, but there was something she had to do, she mustn't sit back and watch.

Ella thought as she sat in the balcony, holding her mother's diary which was now her's anyways as her mother only used half a page. She had flash back of the funny and happy things she had done with her father and mother, and how her grandfathers treated her like egg, tears dropped uncontrollably from her eyes then she made a statement.

"No matter what it takes,I will revenge. I will repay everyone that has caused me pains."
