WHO IS ASMA?

Miss Vivian had brought Ella's diary to the hospital earlier, at night before she went to bed, she picked up a pen and wrote gently on it, very careful not to hurt herself and wrote about the day with a date up on it. This had become a normal routine that Ella seemed to have fun doing.

Ella resumed school after three days, everyone whispered to themselves as they saw her, surely they all had one or two things to say about her. In her mind, she was going to deal with Jessica well, teach her a very good lesson and make her regret ever choosing to be a bully.

Ella enters the class, there were a few students too that whispered to themselves on sighting her. She wasn't too familiar with a lot of people in her class, as she only spoke to them when necessary. Ella smiles as she saw Abdullah. "Hi dear." Ella greets warmly as she took her next to him.

"Ella!" Abdullah exclaims as he stands up and give her a warm hug on her seat then returned to his original position. "I am so happy to see you again, how are you feeling now?"

"I feel good, as you can see." Ella replies with a smile and then frowns. "But why didn't you pay me a visit all through while I was at the hospital?"

"What are you talking about? Asma told me you said you didn't want to see anyone."

"What?" Ella was deep in thoughts for a while and finally asks. "But the day the incident happened, she came by and told me you had an important family gathering you had to attend."

"Ella." Abdullah whispers. "I didn't tell Asma that, actually I never knew when she left the school for the hospital. So I had no choice than to go home that day. Family gathering? On a Wednesday?"

"So Asma told you that I said I didn't want to see anyone?" Ella asks and Abdullah nods in agreement. "And she told me that you had an important family gathering too?"

Abdullah shocked his head, in a maybe aspect. He didn't know if he was to say a yea or a no. "I don't really understand why Asma would do that, or do you have an idea?" Abdullah asks.

"No, but whichever way it is she has her reasons. Do me a Favour and do not confront her."

Abdullah laughs and says. "I am less concerned about things like that, the most important thing is that you are now in good state of health."

Asma walks in right in time, and acts shocked when she saw Abdulla and Ella together. She frowned for not up to second and quickly covers it with a smile. Ella was smart enough to notice the frown, it left her speechless and confused. Who exactly is this girl, and why is she acting like this? She thought.

"Ella." Asma greets warmly, ran to her and gave a warm hug before taking her seat. "Good morning Abdullah."

"Morning dear, how are you doing?"

Ella was still in disbelief but she managed to return a smile. "How are you doing dear?"

"I seriously missed you." Asma whispers gently. Have you checked your desk? I already helped you out with the notes."

"No, I will check them later. Thanks for the help. I rally appreciate."

If confusion was a person, at that moment it would be Ella, this girl had something up her sleeves for sure. But what exactly was she up to?

During lunch time, it seemed a lot different. Darifa was seating alone, all by herself. People whispered to themselves saying all sort of things with the new development.

"I heard she was kicked out of her group."

"Yes, someone told me she is paying for Jessica's crime and mistakes."

"So now, I guess they would be looking for a new group member."

People murmured to themselves as they walked to the tables to eat. Ella walks in and sights Darifa alone, she smiles and told her friends to go on and eat without her as she was going to eat with someone else.

"You guys should go ahead and eat without me, I would eat with Darifa."

"What? That is the girl who poured the liquor on you."

Asma said with a lot concern and sincerity, and it got Ella thinking again. Who exactly is this girl? Why is she giving me mixed feelings?

"Ella, you shouldn't go close to her, that girl seems dangerous." Abdullah adds.

"She got kicked out of her group, because she was ready to tell everyone Jessica told her to pour the liquor on me." Ella smiles. "Right now, she must be very lonely."

"That shouldn't be your concern Ella, we should just avoid these people as much as we can." Abdullah advices.

"I am not going to avoid them, I will fight them until they stop bullying." Ella retorts and walks straight to Darifa. "Do you mind if I seat here with you?"

"No, you can seat." Darifa offers.

"Thanks." Ella took the offer. "If you need anyone to talk to, I am here for you."

"I am fine, I don't want to involve myself with anyone for now."

Ella nods briefly, she could understand the kind of pain and bitterness Darifa felt. The student started talking again when they saw Ella and Darifa together, sitting on the same table and having quite a discussion. The student discussion soon turned to noise, but Ella didn't buy it. She continues talking to Darifa and at same time was enjoying her meal.

The students noise got worse when Emerens and Jessica walks in the food canteen too. Asma and Abdullah were already uncomfortable where they were, what if another terrible thing happens to her again?

"Wow, what a nice view. You are guys are friends now?" Jessica asks mockingly.

Darifa was about to say something when Ella cuts her off with a blunt answer to the question.

"Yes, we are now friends."
