DEATH OF THE VICTIM

Ella shuts the door and walks back to the classroom, hoping the argument in her class would have stopped and at the same time hoping the seniors she bursted earlier won't fix their eyes on her.

Just today alone, that she didn't want to meddle into other people's business, she has witnessed three different breath taking scenes. Is this some sort of test from God? Even the days when she stood for people, terrible things didn't happen as much as this.

The day was still pretty young, but three things had already taken place, is this a warning for her to stay out of people's business entirely?

She enters her classroom, and thankfully God answered her prayers, the argument had already stopped. Still looking at the cowards she left earlier, she took her seat and didn't mention anything to Abdullah about what she saw in the bathroom.

"You weren't able to clean the stain right?" Abdullah asks.

"Yes." Ella nods.

Abdullah takes out a jacket from his bag and hands it to her. "You can wear this if you don't like the stain, it pretty cold anyways."

"You are surely an angel God Almighty sent to me." Ella smiles and takes the jacket, putting it on without zipping it up and the stain was covered. "Thank you."

Just as they were having their conversation, Darifa and Asma walks in.

"Welcome." Ella greets warmly.

The friends greets each other and had their seat, they surely were so happy to be together. Despite the fact that Ella had a lot of secret, she still did her best to be a good friend.

"I brought some chocolates for us to eat during lunch." Abdullah says.

"Really, that so thoughtful of you." Darifa smiles.

"I can't wait for lunch to come, I can't wait to feast on the chocolates." Asma says already salivating.

The rest of them laughs at Asma, her love for chocolates are just so remarkable.

The male teacher from yesterday walks in again and, staring at Ella. Why would he be here? Did he come here to make troubles again? Ella thought in her mind. Fortunately for her, he just came to address the class, staring at her was just to tell her to keep her mouth shut.

As soon as he left the class, she sighs of relief. If the teacher had tried to do anything funny, she might have flared up and once again, get her into trouble.

"Are you okay?" Abdullah asks.

"Yes I am." Ella replies and managed to fake a smile.

As she was writing her exam, nothing else crossed her mind, just her weak senior being bullied earlier. She felt bad that she wasn't able to do anything for him, and wonders what state he would be at the moment.

The weak senior was on her mind all through, that she promised to check on him after the paper she was presently writing.

After the exams, she was chatting with her friend when they all heard a very strange and loud noise from outside. Students were running out, so they had to.

Everybody stood in a very big circle, blocking the main cause of the noise. But was hearing all sort of whispering.

"Is he really dead?"

"It was a su*cide."

"I wonder why he would do that to himself."

Ella manage to push some people out of her way to see who exactly it was. When she was finally at the front, she saw a body lying dead on the floor in a blood bath. The body was bleeding so much from the head. Clearly, it was a suic*ide but what could have made him do such?

She looks closer again, and it was her weak senior from earlier. Ella steps back in shock and disbelief.

The students started talking about Ella again, what was she doing at the front? Is she trying to create a scene?

Ella gently moves closer to the deceased, kneels over him and touched his body. It was very cold, too cold for him. She gently pulls the jacket that Abdullah gave her earlier and used it to cover him. "It's too cold, too cold for your body" she says in a loud voice.

This action was so touching, that it moved the other students and they all suddenly stopped murmuring and whispering.

"I am sorry." Ella whispers to the deceased. "Please Rest In Peace." She turns her head gently and her eyes met with those that were bullying him earlier that day. "You losers, have you gotten what you wanted?" She says in a low voice still.
