NO CONNECTION

Miss smith had the intention of finding out why she was connected to two certain people through hugs. So she decided to hug all her friends to see if it was just some sort of random things because she was down or it was something special.

If it was something special, she still planned to find out why and probably try to get the hugs everyday as they seemed to give her a lot of comfort.

"Darifa." Ella calls and smiles. "Stand up and give me a hug."

Her friends had a strange feeling about it, Ella was a very nice person but she was not the type to give out hugs anyhow.

"Why?" Darifa asks.

"Nothing, I just want to give you a hug, because I am proud of you." Though at that moment, she was only try to check something out but she really was proud of Darifa. The fact that she faced her shame and biggest fear, stopped being bully and chooses her new path.

Darifa smiles warmly, then gives her a very tight hug. "I love you so much my lovely Ella." She says as she still holds on to her tight.

All Ella could feel was pains the way Darifa gave her one of tightest hug she has ever received, her arms were aching, no connection or comfort at all. "You are crushing me." Ella says jokingly.

When Darifa drew apart and had her seat, Ella was disappointed, she just wanted that connection and comfort again.

"Are t you going to sit?" Asma asked.

"You too, stand up and give me a hug."

It was starting to look like Ella wants to give everyone a hug, which got them very suspicious.

"Are you going somewhere? Why do you want to give everyone of us a hug?" Abdullah asks.

"Did something happen?" Asma asks.

"I am not going anywhere, and nothing happened I just want to appreciate you people for being my friends." She replies, deep down Ella knew she was going somewhere, but not yet. "You know, you have been the best buddies on earth."

Her friends were pleased and so happy with her compliments.

Asma did as Ella said earlier, and there was still no connection, as soon as Asma had her seat she hugs Abdullah too and there was still no connection.

Something must be wrong, why did she feel such connection when she hugs the principal and police officer? Was it some sort of sign that she should get close? Or another sign that she should see them as her parents?

See Lola as her mother? Never!!!! That woman with no pride and dignity? She would rather forsake the connection and comfort she felt earlier.

Getting home, she was still filled with the thoughts of the connection and comfort , no matter how hard she tries to forget it, it just didn't work out. She was reading her notebook for the next examination but hopes Vivian would come home soon.

Though, a student had died in their school but it didn't stop their school activities and it got Ella a bit annoyed, even if it was just a day, the school shouldn't hold any activities, but she didn't say anything. A lot of school gossip has already started with her name, and it's so tiring.

The moment Vivian came in, Ella exhales deeply. Finally, someone she could trust and always talk too was around. "Welcome."

"How are you doing?" Vivian asks as she takes off her jackets tiredly and drops her bag on the couch. "I heard everything that happened in your school."

"Really?."

"I keep wondering why you never listen to me, I told you to stay out of trouble and keep your nose out of people's business."

"You should feel sorry for him, the young boy took his life due to constant bully." Ella nags.

"How did you know that? Why are you so sure?"

"I saw them with my own eyes this morning, they were three on him, severely beating him. All I could do was just pass him without calling the attention of the teachers because YOU!!!!! asked me to stay out of trouble." Ella continues nagging.

"I truly feel sorry for him, but I don't like the way you were attached to the story-"

Speaking of which, Ella though of hugging Vivian too, maybe she could feel some sort of connection and comfort like she did earlier.

Ella's hug caught her so unaware, but she likes it anyway. So Vivian embraces her in return. But there was still no sort of connection or comfort and it was starting to really bother her.

Words can't really describe the kind of connection Ella felt, it wasn't pleasure but the kind of comfort she felt was one that she would like to fell every day. If she could get connected and always to talk to someone about her mind, and giver her advice she would really appreciate it.

Though, Vivian was always there for her but sometimes she didn't want to always have talks with her concerning her pains. It would be a serious burden for her, coming with her to Burundi is enough.

Ella didn't bother to tell Vivian about any sort or form of comfort or connection, she retired to bed when it was time and did her normal routine.
