WILL YOU COME WITH ME?

Deep down in Lola's heart, she knew the reason Ella wouldn't want to come with her is not because she won't be comfortable like she had said earlier. Ella won't want to come with her because she thinks less of her a a woman not to talk of a mother.

If she was to take the young girl along with her, definitely she should plan on being a mother to her. But how can she do that when the Ella had called her a shame to womanhood and motherhood because of her shameful act?

Another thing that was bothering her was, what if Malik asks Ella why she didn't want to come with her? What if Ella tells him everything her she saw ? It would be really embarrassing.

"I will make sure I come see her every day, it's not like I am doing anything anyways. I can even come in the morning and leave in the evening after making dinner for the children." Lola says with a smile in return to the one Malik gave her earlier.

"I will be happy if you can do that, you know my son really needs a lot of motherly care and that will be good for Ella too."

"Your son never lived with his mom at all?"

"Yes." Malik nods sadly. "When she found out she was pregnant, we had a conversation about it and she came to the conclusion of aborting."

"Abort? Why?" Lola asks

"She said she doesn't think she can build a life with me, because I am too obsessed with work." He sighs. "So I told her not to abort, and she asked me to pick one. Her or the baby?"

"So you picked the baby?"

"No, I picked her."

"What?" Lola asked with her eyes wide open. For him to pick her, that means he really loved her.

"Yes, I picked her. But when she tried to abort, she had some health complications so she couldn't do it. Since then our relationship turned into something else. At that point I started doubting if the baby was really mine." Andrew smiles bitterly. "I had DNA test done as soon as the boy arrived to life and thankfully he was mine."

Lola looks at him pitifully, surely everyone has a story to tell. But Ella's story was more tears taking. "I am so sorry about that."

"It's fine." He smiles again. "I fell in love with my son the moment I set my eyes on him. That I even forgot about his mom."

"It must have been really hard for you, to raise him all by yourself." Lola says still staring at him.

"It was hard but I did enjoy my blessings." Malik clears his throat to lighten up the mood and change the topic. "Let's go and see Ella now, she must be very sad."

"It will almost kill her ." Lola looks at the pen and paper with Malik. "Instead of talking, she would be writing. Isn't this so absurd and unfair?"

"Lola." Malik calls and it sounds strange to the both of them, but is looks like she likes it as she blushed shyly so he continues with his speech. "You shouldn't be doing this now, it would only make matters worse."

"Okay, let's go see her."

They stood and walked to the ward Ella was rushed to earlier. She was there lying in the bed looking at the rolling fan and so unhappy.

"Hey kid!" Malik says cheerfully touching her cheek, Ella managed to give a smile. "You look better now."

"I am glad you are awake, I am so glad." Lola adds.

Now that Ella remembers, she called Lola but why is Malik here with her? She never expected Lola to come to her rescue or even care for her at all. After everything she had said to her? She is still being this nice and caring. Back to a reality, Ella gave Lola a very big smile. That smile meant a very sincere and honest thank you.

"Take this." Malik says giving her the jotter and pen. "Write down anything you want to say here."

Immediately, Ella collects the jotter and sat on the bed to write. "Why can't I speak?"

Lola and Malik exchanged short glances, they don't know what to say to her. How were they going to explain all the doctor said to them.

After thinking for a moment Malik finally found something to say. "The doctor said you can't talk because you have a lot of things you think of, you are not happy."

"Are you sure?" Ella asks again in her jotter and shows it to him.

"Yes, just make sure you don't think of anything and be happy, have fun and do all the things you like. Your nice and sharp voice will come back."

Ella looks at Lola doubting what Malik had said but Lola replies her with a nod smile assuring her of what she had been told earlier. She writes in her jotter again. "Can I go home now?"

"No, you can't go home." Lola quickly rejects. Instead, you will go with Uncle Malik I promise to pay you visit every morning I promise you that."

Miss Smith looks at Lola not satisfied, and writes in her jotter again. "Will he be comfortable to have me?"

"Hey kid!" Malik calls with a wide smile. "I have a son about your age, you guys would play and go in outings together everyday."

She writes again. "When will I start talking again?"

"If you stay happy for two weeks. Your voice would come back." Malik lied.

Lola looks at him, he was trying his best to present things to her in a very better way. She actually needs that for now, to be happy and be free of worries. "Yes Ella, if you stay happy for two weeks, you voice will come back."

She writes again. "Can you help me pick somethings from my house?"

"Yes."Lola nods and smiles. "I will get you anything you want."

"I need some clothes, my phone and I need you to turn off all the electronics and lock the doors too." Ella writes. "The keys and cellphone are in one clutch bag on the bed in the second room."

"Alright no problem, I will go and do that now." She turns to Malik. "I will be right back."

"Okay no problem." He says and his eyes follows her as she stepped out and when he returned his gaze to Ella, he found her staring at him too. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Do you like her?" she asks as she writes in her jotter.
