NEW PLAN

Apparently, Malik is already fed up with Lola's story, even after all they had discussed a day before, she couldn't get her husband to sign the divorce papers after all. It was so frustrating and annoying to him.

"I couldn't get him to sign the divorce papers yesterday, but I would soon do that." Lola whispers.

"How? You said he was threatening you with your political ambition."

"Yes, but that wasn't the main reason I didn't force him to sign the papers."

"Then why?" Malik asks again.

"My husband-" Lola pauses for a while and continues. "Judin will make sure he does everything to make me stay with him, he can decide to monitor me, what if he finds out about my secret? And threatens to tell the kids or use it against me before the elections?"

"That's true." Malik murmurs as he finds some sense out of what she had just said. "So what do you plan to do now?"

"I plan to get rid of those boys I got involved with first, that is the only way. When they had already forgotten about my existence. I already ended things with the guy threatening me."

"Really?" How did you do that?"

"He called me again yesterday evening, trying to threaten me again. So I told him to go and do whatever he wants to do and I ended the call." Lola sighs. "After some minutes, he called back apologizing for threatening me and told me he wants to use the money to pay his mom medical bills."

"Medical bills?" Malik asks with surprise.

"Yes." Lola nods. "I didn't believe him at first but persuaded me."

"I hope you didn't give him the money?"

"Of course not! Instead I told him not to call me again and forget about me."

"Good." Malik smiles. "So what did he say?"

"He just said it's fine and hanged up."

"You see!" Malik exclaims. "I told you he was just bluffing and you tripped."

"If it not for you, I would have kept on falling for his empty threats."

"So what do we do now concerning your divorce?" Malik asks.

"As soon I have cut contacts with those boys, i will confidently ask for a divorce without caring about anything."

"Alright." Malik nods. "What about your political ambition? If I join hands with you do you think we will able to finance the movement well?"

"No." Lola shakes her head. "Judin is the only person that I am familiar with that can finance the movement without selling his assets or spending his life savings."

"So what do you think we can do now?" Malik asks worried sick.

Ella walks in, still the way she was a while before, in her pajamas and with the jotter and pen. She walks closer to the adults.

"Ella!" Lola calls surprised.

"Do you need anything?" Malik asks.

Ella bows her head and writes. "I will finance the movement."

"What? You heard everything we have been saying?" Malik asks.

Ella nods and writes. "I will support you financially, so you can divorce him."

"But where will you get such amount of money?" Malik asks again.

Ella writes. "I am very rich, Incase you don't know about that sir."

Lola was quiet for a while because she never expects that Ella would want to stand up for her for any reason. She was really moved to tears. "Thank you." Lola appreciates with her eyes filled with tears.

"Is she that rich?" Malik asks with confusion facing Lola.

"Very rich." Lola replies with a smile.

"Richer than your husband?" He asks again.

"Richer than his entire clan put together."

"What? Where and how did you manage to get that amount of money Ella?" Malik asks with utmost disbelief and shock.

Ella bows her head and writes. "I inherited them from my parents and grandparents, I also have some assets on my own."

"Wow! I am amazed!" Malik exclaims. "But how come you have access to the assets?"

Ella writes again. "My parents made me familiar with all their assets when I was much younger. Though, trying to keep the assets was not easy but all thanks to Miss Vivian I got the full access."

"Okay, that's good." Malik whispers.

Miss Smith looks at Lola and writes. "Divorce your husband and be happy with who you truly love, your happiness means a lot ma'am."

"Thank you so much Ella." Lola whispers with her voice trembling in tears.

"But who taught you all these things you know?" Malik asks again.

Ella smiles and writes. "My late mom did that."

"She raised a woman in a body of a child." Lola says with a smile.

"If there is one thing she did right in this world, it would be training you well."

"I am sure she would be happy wherever she is." Lola adds.

Ella writes again. "But I need you both to do something for me."

Malik pulls Ella to their midst. "What do you want us to do for you?"

"Mention anything Ella, I will do anything you want."

She writes again. "I need you both to manage my assets for me."

"Manage your assets?" Malik and Lola choruses.

Ella nods and writes. "I have my assets in buildings spread over in this country, which I leased all for rental."

"Really?" That means you are into real estate!" Malik says with excitement.

"She writes again. "But it needs to be monitored by someone, so as to avoid destruction and loss, my mom always say that."

"So you want us to monitor it for you?" Lola asks.

Ella nods and writes. "I want it to be under a good supervision."

"But we can do anything until you can speak, you know you need to get a lawyer." Malik adds. "We can't go just go to buildings and claim ownership."

"So for now, focus on you regaining your voice again." Lola suggests. "All these things we plan to do can only come into action if you regain your voice."

Ella smiles and writes. "I will regain my voice soon, with time."

"I like your positivity, it will really help you in all aspects of life." Lola says with a smile.
