MONDAY MORNING

Ella walks in on Abdullah again for the seventh time. "Sorry!" She apologizes with a smile as she put on her earrings.

"No it's fine." Abdullah replies and smiles back while he knots his tie.

"I am just used to having my dressing space alone to myself." She says and chuckles sweetly.

"I think you should learn to share the dressing space." Abdullah whispers and adjusts his tie when he is done with knoting it, then faces Ella and pats her on her head. "Who could have thought that the almighty all work Ella, will be here on a Monday morning."

"Oh stop it!" Ella says and tickles him. "You caused it all."

Abdullah rubs her head gently and kisses her on the forehead. "I am happy to finally have you as my woman."

Ella smiles shyly. "I hope it works out well later."

"It would." He releases her head and holds her hands. "I am sure of that."

"I hope so too."

Abdullah laughs briefly and squeezes Ella's hands hard. "Silly brat!"

"Ouch!" She exclaims painfully. "That hurt a lot, you know."

"Another thing you should be thankful for is having a few dresses here, if not you would be late for work this morning." He says and picks up his suit jacket and a small portfolio. "Are you set?" He asks Ella.

"How do I look?" Ella asks in return posing some looks.

"You look as beautiful as ever." Abdullah admires as with a smile.

"Alright." She picks up her hand bag. "Let's go to work."

Abdullah holds her hand and both of them walk out together.

*******************

"Is Ella going to work from Abdullah's place?" Lola asks Shamim who is preparing to go to work.

"I guess so." He replies fixing the buttons on his shirt. "If not so, she would have returned home earlier today."

"How do you think last night went?" Lola asks again in a very low tone and moves closer to her son. "Do you think she said yes to his proposal?"

"I am convinced that actually happened, if she had rejected him, I am one hundred sure that she would have returned back home yesterday."

"I really hope everything works out well between them." Lola says and sighs. "I really like Abdullah. He is a good boy."

"I like him too because he seems to love and care about my sister." Shamim adds and his mind whispers some words. "Is Ella really my sister?"

"Dress up on time, you are running late." Lola says trying to hasten up her son.

"Mom!" Kylie calls and walks in wearing her school uniform.

"Yes, what do you need?"

"Kim mistakenly threw one of her toys under aunt Ella's bed."

"What are you even doing in Ella's room in the first place?" Lola nags.

"We just wanted to have some fun there, that all." Kylie replies and shrugs her shoulders.

"Don't worry, tell her to leave it. I will get if for her before she returns." Lola says tiredly.

"I will help you with that." Shamim cuts in.

Lola looks at her son and smiles broadly. "Really? Thanks a lot. But you already have your shirt on, won't you agent dirts on it?"

"Don't worry about that." Shamim folds in his shoulders and walks to Ella's room. He looks around the beautiful room which he decorated years ago. The decorations were still there, even though Ella is now an adult, she didn't change the decorations. Carefully, he moves to the bed and tries to raise it. Shamim groans for a while before he can lift the bed.

"I never thought this will be as heavy as this." Shamim whispers to himself after successfully lifting the bed. Immediately, he sights Kim's toy and picks it up, but a small gift box got his attention. "Did she plan on giving someone a gift?" He asks no one in particular and picks up the box, but realizes the gift box is quite light. "What is in there?" He asks again and opens it.

A diary with a black cover stares at him as he opens the box. "A diary?" He asks himself as and removes the diary from the box and gently places Kim's toy on the small wooden table. "Why does she have a diary under her bed? Why is the diary in a gift box? Did she intend to give it to someone as a gift?" He questions himself but there is no answer.

His instinct tells him to open the diary up and read the Content, but he denied his instincts. Taking a good look at what had happened to him after he met Lola and Ella, it has been so wonderful. Anyone can hardly tell that Lola didn't birth him.

Shamim denied his instincts because he feels there are something's best left unheard. What if he reads the diary's content and it mars the relationship he has with his beautiful and lovely family? He carefully returns the diary to its box and puts the bed which he had raised earlier before in search of Kim's toy down, then walk out of the room with the toy."

"Thank you!" Kim says with all smiles as she runs to her brother and collects the toy from him.

"You welcome!" Shamim replies with a smile too and rubs his little sister's head.

"Let me have that." Lola says to Kim and collects the toy from her. "I have to sterilize that again. Go and wash your hands."

"Yes mom." Kim says and matches to the bathroom to wash her hands.

"Be fast with what you are doing and come and have breakfast." Lola says to her Shamim as she helps him knot his tie and also observes that his face looks somehow dull. "What is wrong with you?" She asks.

"Nothing mum." Shamim shakes his head.

"Are you sure?" She asks again.

"Yes." He nods again. "I just feel a little bit tired."

"Tired?" Lola asks and checks his temperature. "It's just Monday morning and you feeling tired already? Are you sure you are not feeling sick?"

"Mom!" Shamim calls softly and holds her hands that were checking his temperature. "You worry too much."
