ELLA AND THE BULLY

In a dark room, with just two wooden chairs sitting opposite themselves, a music player speaker and one window which is still closed. The more she looks at it, the more the room resembles the one she saw in her dream.

Another lady, walks to the window as though she is already familiar with the room because she walked upright even without lights. Finally, the lady arrived at her destination and opened the window, then, light shine inside the room beautifully.

The light went directly into Ella's eyes and she closes it tightly for a second or two before gently opening it again. She moves her body about the Forty seventh time trying to set her free from the bondage, but unfortunately, her hands were already tied to the back and her legs, tied together. She then sits still, maintaining her sit on one of the wooden chairs.

"The way you try to let yourself loose is so annoying and disturbing. I don't like noises." The lady from earlier whispers with her back facing Ella and doing something on her cell phone.

"Who are you? Why are you here?" Ella asks with confidence.

The lady pulls her hoodies, leaving herself with just a tank top and pair of shorts, and her back still facing Ella. "A long time ago, a young girl ran away from home, due to some reasons best known to her, she travelled far to another country and immediately she got there, she started causing a lot of troubles for everyone around her." The lady pauses and faces Ella. "But the young girl started digging her own grave when she sent my mom and grandfather to jail."

Ella opens her mouth and eyes wide open in shock. "Jessica?"

Jessica smiles and clicks on a button on her music player speaker. "You know, there is a musician I really love, her name is Koffee. "The music starts playing calmly. "Her songs interest me a lot and I respect her." she pauses the song and smiles. I have a feeling this is the last time I will be listening to her. But I know that's not possible because I am going to live forever." She pulls out a cigar and lighter from her pockets then start smoking. "Don't worry, all of this drama is going to end soon, I will send you to hell soon." Jessica says with a smirk look on her face.

"I don't think I will be the one going to hell, I think you would." Ella retorts with a lot of attitude.

"Another person could have been surprised with that attitude of yours, but I am not." She puffs some smoke out her mouth and sniffs. "You have always had that attitude, since school days, and it is sending you to hell soon."

"You think?" Ella asks and laughs hysterically for a while.

Jessica thought the laugh was going to end in a second or two but is taken aback as the laugh last a while. Her blood starts boiling, she says with her teeth put together. "Stop that crazy laugh this moment, you piece of shit."

Ella stops laughing and frowns. "Everything about me just frustrates you, yeah? Even the fact that the man you can never have is dying to spend the rest of his life with me."

Jessica puts out the light in her cigar and trashed it on the floor, putting the lighter back into her pocket and clicks on another button on the music player speaker. Cool music starts playing and she sighs deeply on hearing the mere intro rhythm of the song. "I feel much better now."

"Hot inna sun, inna snow yeah, live by the sweat of my brow mmm, might not see tomorrow, I'm just happy, I'm living ya know." Ella sings along to the song."

"I have never seen anyone that listens to this lady in this country. I am surprised you know her."

"Well, I bet I know her more than you do." She continues singing. "Me nuh switch up me remaining, the koffee cup still hot yeah."

"Shut up!" Jessica says loudly and stops the song, panting heavily as if she did something very stressful. "How come you are still this relaxed? I expect you to scream for help and beg for forgiveness, instead you even sing tunefully."

"Beg for what?" Miss Smith asks and scoffs. "Will you spare me if I shouted and begged for your forgiveness?"

Jessica picks her hoodie. "I will be right back, enjoy the loneliness for some minutes. Just as how I have been lonely for years." She turns her back and walks out.
