WORRIED SICK!!

Ella opens her eyes to see she is surrounded with a lot people unlike a day before, when only Shamim was with her when she woke up. She almost screamed for help but controls herself.

"Does your head hurt?" Lola asks observing her closely and touching her forehead.

"I am doing fine mom." Ella whispers and tries to sit, Abdullah assisted her up.

"Sister Ella!" Kylie calls happily and embraces her. "I missed you so much, where did you go? What happened to you? Why are you in the hospital?"

Miss Smith sighs heavily, not knowing how to answer the questions her sister bombarded her with. "You know, everyone always complains that I work too much?"

"That's true." Kylie nods. "Mom always says anyone who works too much without resting will fall sick."

"Yes, because I work too much without rests, I found myself here." Ella lies confidently.

"Really? Then I suggest you take a break from work for now." Young Kylie suggests.

Ella nods with smiles. "Kim, how are you doing?"

"I am fine." She replies with smiles staying comfortably in her father's arms.

Miss Smith looks at everyone consecutively with smiles. "It feels so good to be around you all again."

"We all missed you." Asma says with smiles.

Ella raises her brows and faces Asma. "I hope you have now successfully gotten rid of your insecurities and doubts."

"Not that alone." Asma whispers. "I have successfully understood the meaning of friendship and I am ready to have one with you."

Darifa looks at her female friends suspiciously. " is there something we don't know?" She asks pointing to herself and Abdullah.

"I think we don't know a lot." Abdullah finally says something after keeping quite for a while.

Malik pats his daughter's head and whispers. "My baby girl, you look more beautiful day by day."

************

Shamim walks into the eatery and fortunately he runs into JUVENAL. "Hi." He greets almost shyly.

"Shamim!" She calls loudly and embraces him. "How are you doing? You got me really worried all through yesterday, we couldn't seem to reach you at all at work, which is very rare. I don't think you have ever skipped a day at work, have you?"

"No I haven't." He shakes his head. "Let's sit somewhere there and talk." Shamim says and leads the table to one of the vacant tables.

"What happened?" Juvenal asks as soon as she sits. "Why weren't able to reach you all through yesterday?"

"My sister actually, she is at the hospital, we were all tensed."

"Your sister? What happened to her?" She asks again.

"She ran into an accident yesterday and even undergone surgery." Shamim replies not looking at her.

"Oh my God! That must be really bad! How is she feeling now? Is she getting better?"

"Thankfully, she is. She is already conscious." Shamim pauses and looks at Juvenal, smiling at her. "Will you like to see her?"

"What?" She asks as if she isn't sure of what she just heard. "See your sister?"

"Yes." He nods. "As a colleague at work, it's most appropriate to come and pay a visit to my sick sister at the hospital."

"Will your entire family be there too?"

"They might, but I am not too sure of that, I am not forcing you, it's fine if you don't want to come."

"Where are you headed after this place?"

Shamim sighs and replies. "Where else? The hospital of course."

"Okay, I will come with you, but you have to do me a Favour."

"What is that?" He asks paying full attention to her.

"You know, I can't go and pay her a visit without gifting her anything."

"Is that really necessary?"

"Of course!" Juvenal says with a lot of confidence.

"So what do you plan on getting her?" Shamim asks again.

"You have to drive me to the grocery store or the market."

"To get what?"

"Fruits." Juvenal says shyly with smiles.

Shamim giggles and shrugs his shoulders. "No problem, if that's what you want, I will be your driver for the day."

"Thank you." She looks around. "Do you plan on eating here?"

"Yes." He nods. "I am so famished, haven't eaten anything since last night."

"You would hurt yourself if you keep staying without food." Juvenal whispers with care just as she always did.

"Here you go again! Always talking to me as if I am a baby."

"But you are." She says with laughs.

"Let me order for a take away, so we can leave as soon as possible."
