CHIT CHAT

Miss Smith looks at her friends and brother consecutively then closes her eyes, taking a deep breath. "I haven't even thought of it yet."

"Why? You don't like the idea?"

She shakes her head. "I just don't want to do anything that will harm anyone around me. Look at the issue of me and Jessica, she really planned on harming and all of you because of me, despite the fact that I was not guilty."

"That's a different case Ella." Abdullah tries to persuade.

"I still don't know the reason behind their death neither do I know those who killed them nor have any form evidence whatsoever." She pauses and stared deep into his eyes. "Are there any chances of me winning?"

Abdullah pulls his chair close to her and holds her hands tightly. "Whether you win or not, lets give it a go first."

She closes her eyes and exhales deeply again. "It's not easy to make the choice."

He squeezes her hands tightly. "Think of it, will you like to die with that much question in your head?"

"I can't go back there alone, how will

I cope, Nigeria is now like a strange country to me."

Abdullah releases her hands in haste. "Do you think we would all leave you by yourself?"

Ella frowns a bit and asks. "So, you all plan to come along with me to Nigeria?"

"Of course." He says with a nod.

"Really?" Ella asks with a broad smile and embraces him, "thank you, I won't ever forget this favour."

"Ella?!" Malik calls a bit loudly with a tone of warning.

"Let them be." Lola says and rests her head on her husband's shoulder. "Love Is a good thing, isn't it?"

"Take a look at Darifa and her date, they look very much happy too." Malik says and chuckles.

"I won't lie to you, the first time I heard of her not being interested in the opposite sex, I wanted to do everything as much as possible to put an end to her friendship with Ella."

"Really?!" He asks and sips his wine.

"I am telling you, I even hid it from you at first, because I knew you wouldn't like the idea too. But as time goes on,I realized it's not her fault she was created like that."

Malik chuckles a bit louder and moves his shoulders in such a way that Lola removes her head and they both stare at each other. "I remembered the first day I met you at the police station, then Jessica's mom was arrested. I noticed a young boy caring so much for a girl just of his age too. I looked at him carefully and asked myself 'is it just a friendship or something more?' But I got no answers to the question then."

"Did you get the answers to the questions now?" Lola asks with smiles.

He exhales deeply and looks at Abdullah and Ella, chatting and looking so happy. "The answer is right in front of me."

Lola chuckles. "I must commend you for your wonderful idea. It's so wonderful to be in such an amazing place like this with the kids and their friends."

"Ten years ago, Ella introduced the family dinner to me and I think it's time for us to upgrade, who knows? Next year, it might be out of this country."

"That will be so amazing! I can't wait."

"Sweetheart." Malik calls and drops his wine. "It's time for the kids to leave our house."

"Wh-what are you talking about? Leave our house? Why this all of a sudden?" Lola asks stuttering.

"They can't possibly stay with us forever, I think it's time for them to leave, they need to face the real world and learn to get a life of their own, thankfully, they must have saved enough. I will support them in any ways I can."

She exhales deeply. "Since your mind already made up, I don't think there is anything I can do or say to change your mind."

"I will also employ a maid to help you out on all the domestic works." Malik whispers and notices the discomfort written all over his wife's face. "Do not worry, everything will be in control."

"This is making me so uncomfortable." she murmurs. "Telling the kids to leave the house and employing a maid, it's all happening to fast. You made all of this decisions without consulting me?"

"No." He shakes his head. "It's not yet a decision until you accept it. I just thought of it, the stress you go through every morning." He closes his eyes and shakes his head. "It's unbearable."

"Do You think we could possibly work things out between Asma and Eric?" she asks changing the topic.

"What the hell are you talking about? How can you ever think of such? Don't you know the age difference between them?"

"Age is just a number. If they love eachother, I don't see anything bad about the idea." Lola whispers with her eyes fixed on Eric and Asma. "Eric isn't that old anyways."

"Stop it!" Malik says sounding serious.

"What is it?" She asks and chuckles. "I seriously see nothing bad about the idea."
