DATE OUTING

He opens the door and walks in with Asma. "I hope you all haven't been gossiping about us?" He teases.

"Asma, don't tell me you slept in the same room with uncle Eric." Darifa says looking at her friend suspiciously"

"Well...." She clears her throat. "We actually slept in the same room, on the same bed under the same duvet."

Shamim clinched his fist and wants to hit her bad but remember he was taught never to hit girls. "I warned you, didn't I? Uncle Eric is way older than you, don't you get it?"

"Why are you doing this to us?!" Ella joins her brother in the protest.

"I guess you both are making a big deal out of it because uncle Eric is your uncle. It's so thrilling to be with a man way older than you. Perhaps, the age difference isn't much." Darifa says in her own opinion.

"The age difference isn't much you say?!" Ella aka and faces Asma. "Uncle Eric is forty two this year and you are just twenty three."

"It's just nineteen years difference." Asma replies sharply and inhaled softly. "We haven't even started dating yet, though he asked me out on a date outing today." She whispers shyly.

"Date outing?!" Shamim and his sister asks in their loudest voices.

"You will tear down the building with huge noise if you aren't careful." Abdullah says covering his ears tightly with both hands.

"I only came here to ask you a question Ella." Asma says with a very serious tone and face.

Abdullah slowly drops his hands and the rest of them look at Asma with utmost attention

"What is that?" Miss Smith asks almost whispering.

"Concerning what I discussed with you earlier at the hospital, have you had a thought about it?"

"Yes." Darifa nods. "Don't you intend on knowing who killed your parents and why they died?"

"I do, but I am just so scared. I feel trying to uncover the truth might hurt me more than I am at the moment."

"Yes or no." Amsa says sternly. "Just pick one."

Miss Smith goes mute for about ten seconds, she looks at every living soul in the room and remembers her family members that she had lost to the unknown, she thought of Vivian that left her all of a sudden, 'wouldn't it be nice to know the reasons behind all of it?' She asks herself and gently nods her head. "Yes."

Her friends smile in satisfaction as if they had all hoped and prayed for her to say 'yes' to their request.

"Let's all rest and have fun for a while, before coming up with a plan." Shamim whispers.

***********

Juvenal walks in on Shamim with the white towel slightly tied above her bosom. No doubt, the towel is quite a small one, because her inner thighs were still revealing. "Hi." She managed to greet and fight herself off the huge shock.

He stares at her milk like skin, he yearns to pull down the towel and see what it is covering but still strong enough to control himself, any wrong misbehavior could be termed "assault". Shamim turns his back away her and reach out to a bath robe which he hands to her. "Put this on." He whispers beneath his breath.

"Thank you." She quickly collects the bath robe and wears it pulling out the small towel. "I am done." She says when she is done with properly covering her body.

Shamim faces her and sighs. "Next time, be careful when it comes to towels or better still, lock the door. Today it's me, tomorrow might be someone who can't control himself. Dress up, I will step out for some minutes." He walks out, banging the door real hard as if he was angry.

All Juvenal could do is to nod to all he is saying, her eyes follow him as he walks out of the room. She is so unsatisfied and uncomfortable with the attitude she has been getting from him since the day before. But she dares not protest, she started the wildfire anyways.
