Pampered and spoiled

"This, ah'Cheng– I found this by chance." Qin Mu stammered but then he suddenly remembered something else. "That– didn't you go to rest? You should sleep a bit more ah! These past few weeks, you've been running around without any rest."

"Hmm." But Luo Cheng still continued staring at the phone screen, making Qin Mu feel like crying rivers of tears in his heart. 'Your lordship, can you stop staring ah? Give some face to this lil ole' me?'

"Is it good?"

"Good?" he repeated incomprehensively. What's this guy talking about?

"This drama you're watching?"

"..."

"Is it good?"

"... Good! Very good!! It's amazing! Very fresh and light-hearted. I- I thought it was good for a change. Very good acting too. Ahahaha…" Qin Mu felt the laughter dying awkwardly in his throat as he was confronted with the deadpan expression of the other person.

This guy– what exactly does he want? Could it be...

"Errr… ah'Cheng, that– do you want to watch this? I still need to unpack some stuff."

After that, Qin Mu watched in bewilderment as his artist obediently took the phone he gave him and comfortably settled on a couch nearby, and felt like his head was full of a flood of question marks. What's happening? Is the world going to end? When had this guy ever been interested in watching this type of web series?

'...' Nonono– he wasn't going there. Not again! Let this rascal do whatever he wants, and he himself would properly do his assistant job. No more fantasizing about some secret celebrity love!

Luo Cheng stared at the changing scene on the screen without blinking as the young girl complained arrogantly. She appeared overbearing and unlikable at first glance, but the more one looked, the more endearing she became.

It was apparent that this little girl was quite spoiled by her family and those who are close to her– the soft and tender-looking hand waving expressively in the air, which was highlighted by the apparently expensive bracelet glittering enchantingly on her slender wrist, the creamy fair complexion, the arrogant yet pampered expression in her eyes as she voiced out her complaints.

Even her voice sounded soft and tender, despite the harsh words she uttered using it.

A corner of Luo Cheng's mouth curved up ever so lightly seeing this particular expression. It– suits her well. The camera changed points of view and turned to the male lead, and he quickly lost interest. This young man– he's not that good looking ah!

In the end, the top actor of Star dreams entertainment boredly turned his attention towards the comment section below the video and started to casually look through them. At first, they appeared normal– harmonious, and focused on discussing the fun points of the relationship between the ML and the FL. But, the more he looked down though, the more they started taking a totally different tune.

Within a few minutes, Luo Cheng's brow furrowed so much that it looked literally scrunched up like a crumpled wad of paper. These people…

At this moment however, hearing that spoilt voice once again, his eyes were involuntarily drawn toward the still-playing video. The same young girl had appeared on the screen once again.

In this segment, she was staring unwillingly at the disappearing back of the ML as tears streamed down her face. Her fists were clenched and her pretty little mouth was twisted, and it looked like her eyes were spewing out flames.

But if one looked closely, it was easy to see the hint of deep pain hidden within her pale, beautiful eyes. First love can be the most beautiful and sweetest thing that one experiences in their life, but when you lose it, it can hurt just as much. How happy you were, would be how painful you felt after it ends.

Luo Cheng unconsciously brought up his hand and lightly touched the tender and reddened face of the young girl with his index finger. The screen suddenly froze as the video stopped, and he too froze in the midst of his actions– an unfathomable expression flashing past his eyes.

He then looked away and casually glanced around to see that his assistant was arranging some paperwork on a low-set coffee table. His expression returning to its usual apathy, Luo Cheng continued staring at the other man silently, and once again glanced at the now motionless screen showing the teary image of the young girl. Then he abruptly opened his mouth.

"Qin Mu, when are you going on your holiday?"

"Hmmm? Oh, it's next Monday."

"Four more days…"

"Yeah. why are you asking suddenly? You got something to do?" It can't be that this brat was going to ask him to cancel it, right? No way would he do that!

Luo Cheng didn't answer at once. And just when Qin Mu was starting to think that the other asked this out of simple curiosity, he opened his mouth before leisurely saying, "Before you go, do something for me."

It was the 15th of March, and the time was early morning. People were slowly waking up, and the internet was also becoming more alive with each passing second. After all, everyone was accustomed to checking their phones first thing in the morning after getting up, except perhaps for those night owls and old people.

Not to mention, today was a Sunday. With everybody staying at home from work or school, what better way to spend time than to read and enjoy the various gossip on the net? Thus, cybercitizens all over the country happily took to their daily task of looking up new gossip.

It was at this moment that a certain social media marketing account updated its special weekend post. This blogger named 'fat intestines' was someone who posted articles related to the entertainment circle, particularly about actors and singers.

Especially these weekend specials– they were not hot gossip or some scandalous news about a certain type of artist. Nor were they about the newly released dramas, movies, or recent reality shows. No– instead, the blogger would pick up some artist of his choice and then select one or two of their best new works and point out their interesting points.

Quite a different approach– but this was what made it even more appealing. Not to mention, all the artists he selected would be relatively new, so it made for quite a fresh change. And, have to say this, the fans loved it.

Of course, there were many other marketing accounts following a similar approach, and some were very successful too, but this account was not too bad either. Especially considering that this blogger had managed to build a fan base that was slightly older -probably around the mid and late twenties- around his account.

Today too, fat intestine's fans logged on as usual and seeing that a new article of their favorite version -the weekend specialty- was updated, happily went on to take a look. Hmmmm? This seems to be a new actress.

Two of her recent works were mentioned; one was a photo shoot for some clothing brand and the other was a villainess character in a small and unrated web series.

The fans who had worked hard at their jobs during the weekdays, and were looking for ways to heal their tired selves felt that the young and adorable teenage girl in the photos was specially cute and good-looking.

Look at this smile and that slightly spoilt look. This baby– she makes them feel like they also want to spoil her and then some. Being young is really great!
