" Alright then". She walked over to Daivik's bed and sat atop.
" When did things get Soo rough between you and keva?". Aeron needed his answers. What in Elysian could have happened to the best girl duo that existed.
" Keva has been acting strange lately. Maybe she's outgrown our friendship I don't really know". She put her head down in disappointment " First it was the sudden poison when she stabbed Daivik". She looked at Aeron
" Why was no one ever concerned when keva stabbed Daivik with a poisonous dagger ?. She wasn't even punished".
" I never put much thought after that actually. That was very concerning". He folded his arms intrigued by the conversation.
" Now she wants to know more about me. And I still find that weird. Why?, first it was Omna now is it my turn?". She had fright for a moment that soon turned into a frown.
" Oh! that's a problem?". He chuckled in disbelief. " Why aren't you open about yourself though?". She didn't respond to him.
" I'll go get the stuffs I can get". She got down from the bed and left him dumbfounded.
" Why is everyone weird?" Aeron's frustration levels were rising.
Alvah sat on the steps to the hallway when a familiar figure sat beside him. " Hey Alvah". He had never in a decade seen this day to come. It was keva. What did she want with him.
He didn't answer but watched her sit right next to him.
" We have never chatted since... " She tilted her head sideways as if to remind him the last time they interacted but without a word.
" I don't see a problem with that". His voice cracked a bit. Almost adjusting his position when she held his arm.
" You look bothered, are you okay?. You used to be able to tell me a lot before. We grew distant with each other". She looked sad saying it as if wanting to get a reaction from him and she sure did.
" We didn't grow distant keva. Things change. Everything changed".
" And do you want it to go back the same way". Alvah laughed " what's funny?" She asked slightly angered.
" I would want things to go back to the way it was but that's not possible".
" It is, we could make it work ". She rubbed his arm. Alvah looked at her with suspicion but he was quick to change the situation. " How's it between you and Daivik?".
" Daivik is okay. We don't talk that much but I'm cool with it". She was being plain about him and Alvah found it weird.
" You both have come a long way you..."
She got up about to leave. " Daivik and I are roommates now, Cristal moved out. I guess that'll give us enough time to bond". She felt irritated by the last word.
" What's going on between you and Cristal?". It was Alvah's turn to ask about this issue between them and she just laughed at him. " You ask too many questions Alvah ". She walked away leaving him.
Alvah in a race teleported to Daiviks room. Daivik was seated on Cristal's bed which was now his. " Are you going to talk about what's wrong between you and keva, Cristal and keva".
" Keva is the main subject here " Aeron said entering the room and they all looked at him. " Daivik why are you Soo calm about this". His patience and temperance was beginning to piss Aeron. None of them seemed to understand why he's been Soo weak lately.
" Stop being a dufus Daivik, talk with her when she gets here". They all heard the sound of the door opening, and they all teleported away but to the same place coincidentally.
Backing each other, when they turned around they all saw themselves. Aeron and Alvah yelled at Daivik. " What are you doing here?". Daivik felt attacked.
" This girl is draining you Daivik, where's your masculinity?". Aeron punched him in the chest.
" This isn't about my masculinity Aeron" Daivik defended.
" What is it about then?" He asked about to punch him again but Daivik held his fist looking at Alvah.
" What would you do if it was Zillah?" His question seems to subtle the two furious men but Alvah's reply was not expected.
" Zillah would never be found in a situation like this". Aeron bursted in laughter. " That's true. Girl is strong minded, I adore her".
Daivik was down casted. " Have you tried, contact?". Alvah asked moving his fingers a bit.
They were both confused at his gesture. " Physical touch, that works".
" Yeah physical touch. I agree with Alvah". He nodded at Alvah and he nodded back.
" We don't even get to the part where I could be inches closer to her and you talk about touching. What if she pushes me away?".
Aeron replied. " That would be... Embarrassing ". " Really embarrassing" Alvah Concord and they chuckled a bit till they glanced at Daivik and he was laughing as well.
They both straightened up. " How's it going with you and Zillah?. You don't complain these days". Daivik shot a glare at Alvah.
" I never complain about Zillah". He said with a grin on his face. " I agree " Aeron agreed and they both fist bumped each other.
" Except there's one thing I've been trying to understand" The corner of Daiviks lips tugged up and Alvah gave him a dark look.
" What is it?" He asked Alvah as his grin widened. " Zillah hasn't said I love you back to me".
" Ooooohh" That was a hit even for Daivik. " She hasn't said it?". Aeron asked in disbelief. " She hasn't". " She doesn't even respond to it".
" Ohhhh my days" They exclaimed almost holding their chest. Alvah would've thought that they were being dramatic but they weren't. It was more serious that he thought.
Aeron asked him " What does she say then?".
" I... Like you".
" What?!" That broke Daivik. " That's serious Alvah".
" Or what else does she do?" Aeron's asked further. " She smiles or maybe pull me in for a tight hug".
" Alvah!!" Aeron shouted his name and it flicked him. " How long has this been going on for?".
" Initially, I'm guessing it's too soon for her to respond. But she is my life partner after all and she missed me, she cares and sacrifices for me. Is it hard to say or it was easy for me?". It was awkward saying I love you and she never responded back to him, it could only mean that.
" Maybe she doesn't like you that much to love you" Aeron concluded. " What'd you mean by that". Alvah in uttermost misconception could not accept this fact.
" At this point maybe she just likes you because she's supposed to and not because she wants to anymore because the Zillah I knew before, really loved you. You messed up somewhere".
" Yeah Aeron is right". Daivik agreed to his theory.
" No you guys need to understand that we are closer than ever. We kiss, tell each other stories, listen to each other..."
" It's weird coming out from your mouth, she's really changed you Alvah ". Daivik said to Alvah. " It's probably because you left her for more than half a year, she might be subconsciously not feeling it anymore but she's sufficed by your presence now".
Aeron added. " Compared to you who was gone, seeing her again amplifies your feelings and emotions but to her that was here, you leaving, her drive, anticipation, her love reduced".
Alvah always knew that Zillah was the key to unlocking fear in him. Hearing their words, all his mind could process was to win Zillah's love back.
