" Alvah you'll be okay. Maybe she needs a lot of time to accept that she loves you that much and back ". Daivik reassured him as he saw wrinkled lines appearing on Alvah's forehead.
Aeron encouraged as well. " Yeah, tough up". Alvah was bedazzled. Their words got to him Soo bad. The amount of times that he desperately told her he loves her and the countless amount of times he was lost in her beauty and eagerly held himself from saying it. Meanwhile she didn't feel the same.
He was grateful for the few times he held back. Aeron and Daivik left the place. " Don't forget to talk with keva" Aaron reminded Daivik with a smirk. Daivik just sighed at him knowing he would not have that conversation. Why was he the only one trying to patch things between them and she wasn't even trying.
Alvah sat on the roof Soo high, still devasted about everything when he heard footsteps towards him.
He looked behind to see Cristal headed towards him. And he wondered when he and Cristal got this close, or was she up to something.
" Hey" he spoke first. " Hi Alvah". She threw her legs across sitting next to him resting her head on his shoulders and he patted her head softly. " I am exhausted" she dragged it and Alvah laughed at her.
" You basically haven't done anything Cristal why Soo tired?". She pointed at her temples. " Here" and he immediately understood. " Mentally huhn". She nodded in accordance resting back on his shoulder.
" You and keva?". He questioned. She lifted up her hands abruptly " I do not want to talk about that".
" Respectfully" he didn't push her limits and just accepted. " Wait I actually do" she lifted up her head indicating she had a sudden pop up in her head.
" What is that?" He was engaged and rooted. Only because he was trying to get Zillah off his mind at the moment. " Keva, keva stabbed Daivik last year ".
" Keva did what now?" The pitch of his voice deepened in shock and astonishment. "What'd you mean she stabbed Daivik?"
" Didn't they tell you?" She had a questioning look with a raised brow. " They told me nothing". " Or maybe they didn't remember because they got caught up in something" he was referring to him and Zillah.
" Okay I understand". She began narrating "Here's the thing. The new keva always acting strange and all. We sent Daivik to go talk with her about everything yes, but he got stabbed by her with a very poisonous dagger that doesn't belong in Elysian".
" It was tested and it doesn't belong in Elysian ?". He asked surprised
" Yes it wasn't". She nodded. " And you presume it's from Tartarus?" He chuckled at the hypothesis. " Isn't it?" She was confused at his words.
He shrugged. " I don't know. I haven't been in Tartarus for a good amount of time. I cannot imagine what will happen to me when I go back there ". He suddenly deviated from the conversation into what she believed was what was bothering Alvah.
" Can't you just stay here?". She felt sorrowful and pity for him. He looked at her and grinned " That's almost impossible for me Cristal. They would invade here and murder a mass of celestials".
" It's only a period of time before things will go down the wrong way". His look darkened.
" Alvah". Cristal had a look of fear in her eyes. " Will you be alright?".
He grinned at her. " Hopefully ". For the first time she could not accept fully in her chest that Alvah's assurance was a hundred. Hopefully it only made her confirm that even Alvah didn't know what awaited him when he returned.
He took her off guard. " But I need you guys to know that there is just beyond Elysian and Tartarus. Don't be too deceived by the concept, you will find out more very soon". He rubbed her cheek with a slight grin that gave off nothing but fake.
And it clicked in Cristal's head seeing that she was this close with Alvah she had an opportunity. " I have to talk to you about something very important"
" And what is that ?" He asked getting up, rounding off the conversation. " How much time do you have left here?". Considering that he was on last days here he might as well just stay till time was up. " Till the last minute". He replied with a question " why do you ask?".
Daivik got to the room to see keva asleep when it was just mid in the day. He walked up to her. Looking at her pretty face. " Would you like to each lunch with me?". He asked hoping and waiting for a response. When he got none he sighed internally and walked away.
" Sure. Let's go". He turned around to see her smiling at him. She held his hands intertwining them both. And she led the way.
When they got to the dining area. She selected a few different food into each dish plate in a tray and served it on the table. Got two spoons for them and patted on the chair for him to take a seat beside her and he did obediently.
He was panicked a while ago about what to do with her and it was like she heard their conversation because why else was she doing something like this.
He was relieved deeply that he didn't have to stress or ignore her but she was the one putting in the effort and he felt grateful.
" Where did Alvah go?" Zillah was tensed. Since the morning time he had left her he had not searched for her, how was he surviving the day without her she thought to herself.
She sat on the bed. And she realized she was powerless once again. " Oh my gosh". She fell to the bed hardly but it was soft enough to give her a little push and she bounced a few times. " No way I have no skill or talent in this place". She cried loudly.
" Alvah, I haven't learned to use any weapon" she cried again. " Everything is on pause". She didn't like the feeling that nothing was going on which made it feel more unsafe. No one was united with each other neither close like they used to be.
It was an awkward feeling. Was this how Elysian used to be or it was lively just because they needed her to feel welcomed and at home and at a strange place or her life was revolved around one person. " Alvah".
" Would you be willing to work both day and night, I don't have much time left". Alvah asked Cristal after she discussed her plans with him.
" It's okay. You really do underestimate me don't you?". She smiled at him. Funny of him to think that she was a joke.
He looked down at her in awe. " Everyone underestimates you. Who would believe Elysian's safety is on your shoulders".
" Shhhh" she pressed her fingers against her lips. " No one is supposed to know".
" Your secrets safe with me". He placed his arms on her shoulders.
She was meaning to ask this question and now she was done briefing him she thought to ask " Earlier you said there's more to Elysian and Tartarus, what did you mean by that?".
" I may not be able to explain it to you but you'll understand it just in time Cristal". Alvah on the other hand have been feeling a lot more energy than he used to.
He didn't know who to talk to about it. Spending time with Zillah did not give him enough space to explore much while he was here.
He didn't regret it either but he had to be time cautious and he thinks to tell her what's going on. He needed more trust in her than he ever needed at this crucial time. The words of the Great Neevan echoed and lingered in his head he could never forget. And he needed to act faster.
