Adam's POV

I was sleeping near Mia while sitting and laid my head beside her. I opened my eyes to look at Mia.

She wasn't there on the bed. She was standing near the window while watching outside. I got up from the chair and went closer to her. She turned towards me and gave me an angry look.

"M..Mia are you alright?" I worriedly asked while coming closer to her.

"Don't come close to me, Bao Cheng" she said while raising her hand as ready to fight. I stopped at my spot and asked in a questionable manner,

"Bao Cheng?"

I stepped back and think 'Is he her boyfriend? why so ancient name?'. I turned around and picked up my phone and called Joe,

"Hello, everything's good?" he immediately asked.

"Please bro, come to my place," I hurriedly said and hung up.

"I wanna go back to my place," Mia said while coming closer and looking at me.

"And where's your place?" I said while lowering my head at her level and raising my eyebrow.

"You already know where is it," She said in a confident tone.

"I really don't know where is it?" I said in a confusing tone.

"It is in hyrguf samawali" She replied.

"Where on earth this place is?" I asked.

"It is in hokewr country" Mia replied while raising her head.

"Are you alright, Mia?" I said while placing my hand on her forehead but she was cold.

"What the hell," she said while taking back steps away from me and was about to say something when the door opened revealing Joe, as she looked at him she screamed,

"You!!!!!! what are you doing here?" she said while pointing toward Joe.

"What am I doing here?" he said while raising his finger towards himself.

"Leave her already," I said while ignoring her.

"Christopher, I asked what are you doing here? You should be with Hellen."

She said while looking confusedly at Joe. Joe was about to say something when the door behind him opened revealing Lia and Jess.

"What are you guys doing here?" Joe asked with a confused face.

"I told them everyth- "Hey Hellen why are you here?" I was about to say something when Mia interrupted.

"And you, you Smith, you shouldn't be here," She said while angrily looking towards Jess.

"Then where should I be, ma'am?" he said while bowing at her level.

"Just shut up already, why are you guys confusing me? and where the hell Jianjian is" she irritatedly shouted.

"Now who the hell is she," Jess disgustedly said.

"She must be talking about Isa," Lia said.

"Oh, yah Isa!!" she loudly said while raising her hand. Then suddenly, her facial expression changed into a very sad and angry face

"Isa? I...I wanna talk to her" tears can be seen clearly in her eyes. All of us were just looking at her silently.

"Liaaa!!!!!!" she was screaming, but none of us was going towards her. It's not like that I don't wanna go to her, of course, I wanna go to her, hug her and comfort her.

"Lia just once, please come back. I...I wanna apologize. I have hurt you badly before." She said while sitting on the floor. This time I can't control myself but hug her. She hugged me back and started crying loudly.

I can felt her hot breath near me and her tears which made my Shirt wet. Suddenly she stopped crying and started giggling. I freed her from the hug and saw she was laughing loudly while looking towards the ceiling.

"Horrible bad Isa, Poor innocent Isa, you are lying there still: covered, perhaps, with mud by this time, with only a stray rag of your sacking sticking out of the skin into the opaque brown tides." she was saying strange things with mixed feelings while laughing and shouting.

After a while, she quiets and sat on the bed, with her hair all covering her face and downed her head.

"Maybe, she tired," Jess said.

"Why on earth she was talking about Isa?" Joe said leaving me in confusion.

"I think-, "You!!!!!!" Jess was about to say something when Mia again interrupted and pointed at him. "You killed her!!!!" She said while getting up from the bed and coming towards him.

As she came close to him, she grabbed his collar while raising her heels at his level.

"You, bastard!!!! you've killed her" Jess was just silently looking towards her with an expressionless face, letting her do and say anything she wanted.

She suddenly stopped and release him. While taking back steps, "It's good she died" she said with a smirk.

"Now I am here, everyone looks at me, Isa is dead she is no more, now I am the prettiest, Now you can be mine, Adam," She said while coming closer to me.

She was about to hug me when I took my steps back, after listening to her words, I don't want to even look at her face.

"What happened?" she asked me as I took my steps back.

I was just silently looking at her.

"Adam, what happened?" she again asked.

I don't have any words to say to her. "Oh, I get it. That witch left her influence on you," she said making a careless face.

Why the hell she was talking too harshly about her? Is this what she is? I was asking. But she just kept on jerking me asking me what happened to me. I got irritated and pushed her away from me.

"Just stay away, Mia. Aren't you in your senses? why saying shits like that? Did you hate Isa that much?" I shouted while Lia came to me and patted my shoulder maybe to comfort me.

I came to my senses and looked at her maybe, I was too harsh. But she was standing there still and suddenly when realize I was looking at her, she started laughing and slowly her laughing face converted into a blank face and she started falling to the floor, maybe losing her consciousness.

I hurriedly ran toward her and caught her before she fall to the floor. I picked her up and laid her on the bed. She fainted.

"Adam, what happened to her?" Jess asked.

I told them everything.

"I think we should go and talk to her mom," Lia said.

"There's no use of it, she is such a disgusted woman," Joe said while looking at Lia.

After a discussion, we concluded that Mia will stay with everyone: 15 days at one's house and then 15 days at other's house.

First 15 days, she was supposed to leave with me. I was thinking about how would I keep her away from my room where everywhere is Isa, then Jess said

"Ahm, Adam just hold control over yourself, she is mentally unstable," Jess said while teasing me.

"Just shut up already" I annoyingly said as I was thinking about something that serious and what he said.🤦‍♀️
