ADAM'S POV

-Adam's POV

After a while, we had our lunch and they all went to their houses. When they left I came back to Mia, she was sleeping peacefully. Her cheeks were red and she was sleeping deeply. I took a glance at her and went towards my room.

As I went into my room, there was Isa everywhere. I get in and sat on the couch. I closed my eyes and started thinking about the past, about Isa.

-FLASHBACK

I and Isa were walking in the corridor in college. When she spoke up,

"Gosh~ it's a history lecture. I don't know when we get rid of this. Like why, why we have to read it?" she said while walking like a lazy person.

"It's an okay girl," I said while patting her.

Then we went to our class and take our lecture.

Mr. Lee: class, I have a surprise for all of you. If you want it, you have to come back to this class after school, okay??

Joe: Okay sir! he said while raising his hand like an always-ready student.

Isa: wow, I really like surprises (excitedly).

Jess: Oh C'mon guys, Mr. Lee will surely give us a so-called teacher's surprise. he carelessly said.

Isa: Whatever, I will definitely come.

Me: And so do I.

Lia: okay then. All of us will come.

All of us left the class to take other lectures. After some time we came back to class.

Jess: I think the professor ran away while making all of us dupe.

Isa: No idiot.

Mr. Lee entered the class with a guy behind him who was holding a bunch of papers in his hand.

Mr. Lee: So here's your prize! Andy distributes the papers to the class. Class, you have a surprise test. He said while smirking at us.

Jess: What the hell? How can he do that to us? I failed for sure. I don't have the answer to even one question.

Isa: But I do know, a few of them.

Me: Yeah, I know almost all.

Mia: Same here.

Joe: yeah, I know too. he said while looking at the paper.

Mr. Lee: Hey, what you guys are gossiping about?

Isa: Sir, Jess is saying he doesn't know the answer to even one question. she innocently said while raising her hand.

Mr. Lee: Jess, I want to meet your dad. You are being naughty by the time!

Jess: Sir, why not mom? my dad is not free.

Mr. Lee: okay then, I'll call your dad asking him if he's free or not.

Jess: Ah, well, there's no need to. he is coming back today. I will let him know. he said with a bunny smile and sit down.

"Just wait for the revenge" he whispered.

Isa: Si- she was about to shout when Jess again whispered "okay sorry, sorry."

After test.

"Guys let's eat something," Lia said.

Isa: I'm not in a mood to eat anything. I'm feeling dizzy, wanna go home and take a rest.

"Are you okay, how come not eating anything?" I asked while putting my hand on her forehead, she was warm.

"Gosh, you are warm, are you ill? I asked.

"Not really." she carelessly said.

"Come, lemme drop you home," I said while holding her bag.

"Oh C'mon Adam, I'm okay," she said.

"Stand up" I ordered.

"Gosh~ why so willful?" she said but finding me standing still with that expression she got up and we both went not knowing someone was giving us a dark glare to us from behind.

It was almost evening and we went to her house, she was living alone in her home as she don't have any parents. As we entered she asked me to leave saying it was not convenient to stay at my place this time. I left.

I reached home, have my dinner, and went to my room. I was taking shower when my phone rang outside. After showering I came outside and checked the caller's ID, it was Isa who called me.

I called her back, and as she picked up she hurridly said

"Lia, please fetch me some medicines like acetaminophen and ibuprofen, I'm feeling too much pain in my body. Maybe I'm sick" I was about to say something but she hunged up.

I immediately wore my clothes, went to the pharmacy to grab medicines, and went to her house. As I knocked, it was already open.

"Geez, this girl, how can she be so stupid?" I whispered to myself.

As I entered her room, I saw her lying on the bed while wrapping herself in the blanket. I went towards her and sat beside her.

As I checked her, she was suffering from a high fever. As she feel my touch she immediately opened her eyes. Her eyes and her face were too red. She was shocked to see me and sat on the bed.

"Wh..what are yo..you doing here?" She said in a grunting voice.

"Shh. don't speak. Here is your medicine." I said while handing the medicine to her and pouring the water into the glass. She took the medicines.

"I have taken them, now leave!" she ordered.

"Okay, I will leave, once you sleep," I said while sitting on a chair placed in front of the bed.

"Hey, stop being so stubborn. I'm fine," she said but I didn't listen to her and looked at her like a stubborn child. she sighed and lay down.

-Isa's POV

I laid down when I saw his never-listen-to-you face. As I lay down I immediately slept not knowing what was happening in my surround.

After a while, I awake and was about to stand when I felt someone's hand on my hand. It was Adam's hand.

I looked at him and thought 'how adorable he is why is he so cute? He was sleeping like a bear with red cheeks. I caressed his hair and slowly said 'This is how yo make me fl-for you even more.

I looked at the time and it was 4 AM. I suddenly recalled that today my aunt was supposed to come to my house to meet me and see if I was doing okay. and what if she saw me, with a guy?

I immediately started moving him, "Adam, Adam, woke up?"

"Just a lit bit more," he said while turning his head in the other direction.

"Adam, wake, or else I will bring cold water and throw the whole glass on you.

*no response. I moved him and said, "Yeah, you know there are all ghosts in my house at this period. They are here for you!" I said imagining him to awake but he said,

"It was not horrible at all, try something new," he said in a still position while raising his hand.

I thought of a plan and get up from the bed. As I was leaving, I broke the glass placing it on the side table as the glass broke I looked back at him he was still sleeping.

I sighed and went downstairs. I took a white shawl and put it on and sat down on the sofa while turning all the lights off in the hallway.

As I broke the glass earlier, I am pretty sure he will come and look for me. After a while, I heard footsteps as someone was coming downstairs. Soon I realized Adam was standing behind the couch.

Adam: Would you explain? he said while crossing his hand on his chest.

I slowly turned around and looked at him.

"You were not leaving, so I have to act like that. I said while coming close to him and looking down. He hold my arms and said

"And why do you want me to leave?" he innocently said.

"Actually, my aunt is coming today so I don't want her to think wronged of me or you," I replied to him.

He release my shoulder and started coming closer to me while keeping his hand in his jeans pocket. I started keeping backsteps until my back hit the wall. He put his left hand on the wall behind me and came closer

"Then, let her think anything she wants to. I don't mind" he said while smirking.

"You jerk, what do you mean by that?" I asked while smiling knowing very well what was he trying to say.

"Hmm, you know what, I fell in love in love with a girl, she is in the same college as mine. She is so innocent and stupid. I wanna protect her." he said and I can see the love in his voice and eyes.

"Well, I am in love with someone too," I said while raising my eyebrow. He was just smiling at me understanding what I wants to say.

"Who is that guy," he said while smiling at me.

"Well, he doesn't like spicy food, he likes to bite nails," I said while he chuckled.

"And for how long are you in love with this guy?" he said while crossing his hand on his chest.

"Umm, since that guy started loving me" I confidently said.

"So do you love me?" he asked while smiling cutely.

"What do you think? what if I say no."I said while raising my eyebrow.

"I will wait for you no matter what? He said as if he was acting in a Bollywood movie, lmao.

"Hey, why are you laughing?" he innocently asked.

"It's nothing. You are too much in your character" I giggled while moving aside from him. "lemme tell you who is in character" he said while smiling and running towards me, I just ran and he followed me while laughing.

Tears were non-stopping coming out of my eyes as I recalled her every action. I didn't understand at once what to do, I tried my best to forget her, but why, why can't I forget her? I sat down on the floor while crying badly.

"Don't worry Isa, I will surely kill her," I whispered to myself.

Suddenly, I heard a knock on my door.
