Adam's POV

I heard a knock on my door when I opened the door I saw Mia standing there.

"What do you want?" I asked in a serious tone.

"Look Bao Cheng, I know you love me but I...I want to meet Isa..." as I heard those words of her, tears started flowing out of my eyes.

"Your tears indicate something is fishy, what happened to tell me please." I remained silent and closed the door on her face.

I can hear her footsteps going away from my room. After a while, I got out of my room and went towards the guest room to check if she was doing okay, as I went closer, I saw her sitting on the bed while thinking something very deeply with a serious face.

Did she really know nothing? I thought. Then, I went to my room and lay down, still thinking about Isa, but don't know when to fall asleep.

-NEXT MORNING

My room door was continuously knocking, causing me to await from my deep sleep. I got up and opened the door revealing Mia. She was continuously moving at her spot,

"I wanna go pee," she said while shaking at her fixed spot and was about to go inside my room when I put my arm between her and the room. I can't let her in, because in my room everywhere is Isa.

"You can't come into my room," I said.

"Ahhh, why can't I?" She said while making an irritated face.

"Because it's a men's room and you are a girl, what if I did something to you?" I said while coming closer to her.

"Yeah, you scoundrel!!!" she said and went away while I just smiled at her reaction.

I get into my room and got freshened. After that, I took a glance at Mia and went outside, but unfortunately, I forgot to unlock my bedroom door.

I bought Mia's favorite Greek yogurt for breakfast. When I came back, I looked at the guest room, but to my wonder, Mia wasn't there.

I put bags on the table in the room and sat on the bed while waiting for her to come from the washroom. Agh~ why is she taking too much time? I thought, get up from the bed and went towards the washroom, and knocked on the door.

"Isa, you there?" I asked but got no response from another side. I slowly opened the door, it wasn't locked. She was not there in the washroom.

I hurriedly come out of the washroom and went towards my room. I was about to open it when found it already opened. I slowly opened it and saw Mia standing in the middle of the room with teary eyes while looking at the picture hanging on the wall. She immediately looked at me with teary eyes, her eyes were too red and filled with tears and anger. The offense was too visible on her face.

"You still love her? How can you-" She was about to say something when can't control her tears and again burst into tears.

"Don't you love her?" she said while pointing at herself,

"If you don't love her then why... why did you even accept her confession" She was shouting angrily at me while pointing at herself.

"Wh...What are you doing here?" I asked trying my best not to make eye contact.

"This is not the answer to my question," she yelled while tears were continuously flowing out of her eyes.

"Look Mia let me expla-" I was about to something when cut off by her words.

"Why this bitch not letting you go even after she died?"

"Watch your words before speaking, Mia" I can't control myself when she uses that kind of wording for Isa.

"Why, huh? can't you bear it?" I remained silent letting her say anything she wanted to.

"'Do you have any idea how this-" she was saying something when the bell rang and I immediately went to open the door 'as waiting for an excuse to leave.

I opened the door revealing Joe and Lia. They both entered in and I let them stay in the guest room.

I came back to my room and saw Mia standing in front of the mirror with a knife in her hand and was about to cut her wrist when I shout,

"Miaa!!!!!!" I hurriedly run towards her and grabbed the knife from her hand.

"Are you insane? What happened to me if something happened to you." I worriedly asked.

"Nothing can happen to you, only she is the one whom you cared the most no one else," she said with teary eyes.

"I hold her shoulder and said "Isa was my past and you are my present and future"

She nodded s if she as believing me. "Why is she everywhere in your room," she said while wiping her tears.

"I've asked someone to pull them out and replace them with yours, sweetheart." I am a man so I have a great ability to fool a girl and let her trust every word of mine😉.

"Okay now, smile," I said as I don't like her teary face. She smiled and we both went to the guest room while I locked the door of my room before leaving.

As we entered in the guest room I saw Jess was also reached there.

Mia said, "Hey guys, how are you all?"

"We all are fine you speak how's your Bao Cheng?" he said in a naughty tone.

"Who's Bao Cheng?" she said while raising her eyebrows in a questionable manner.

"Wait, Mia, Are you okay," Lia said.

"Of course, I am, what happened to me by the way?" She asked as if nothing happened.

"Yeah, you were acting like as y-" Jess was about to tell her complete story when cut off by Joe

"Just let it be, Mia tell us when your mom throw you from the house, what happened to you?" Joe asked.

Mia fall into her thoughts "I can't remember exactly what happened" She said while keeping her hand on her head to try to remember something.

"Yeah, a guy was chasing me then I hide in a dangerous alley and maybe dumped in someone." She was trying her best to memorize everything.

"He..he kidnaped me, someone kidnapped me," she said and fear was clear on her face.

"Who, Mia, who kidnaped you?" I hurriedly asked.

"I don't know. He put a blindfold on my eyes and he didn't speak anything"

"Did he does something wrong to you?" I asked.

"Nah, he just injected something in my shoulder, and then my eyes became heavy. All I can remember is he untied me but I wasn't strong enough to run or fight. Then he put me in a car and then into, into the alley. Yeah, I remembered everything. What happened to me after that?"

she was just kept on telling us everything. When Jess told her everything she did tomorrow.

"Maybe it's because he injected you some kind of drugs, and now the effect is diminished," Joe said.

I got a call from my aunt so I came out of the room to pick up the call.

"Hello?"

"My love, how are you doing?" She said.

"I'm fine aunt, how are you doing?" even though I know she was doing it for money, but still I have to be okay with her.

"My baby, You must be too alone, I'm coming to you today and will leave with you for a week," she said though I don't want her to come still I can't do anything.

I hung up the call and came back to the room.

"Mia, you have to move out of my house," I said immediately as I entered in the room.

"But why so sudden," she asked.

"Well my aunt is coming, that's why"

"Yeah, you don't worry Adam, I'll take care of your girlfriend for you," Lia said.

I warmly smiled at her, Meanwhile, those words of hers,
