Picking up Daisy

A few days passed...

Clarissa was standing with Daisy on the terrace upstairs, watching the sunset sky while enjoying a cup of hot tea they each brought.

"Days go by so fast," Daisy mumbled wearily, remembering Alexander's promise to see her after a week since they first met. it's been more than a week now and yet he hasn't come, making her feel that he just wants to lure her with a promise that will never be kept.

"It feels like only yesterday I was dragged here by Madam Nicole, but it's been a year," Clarissa said, remembering the first time she got to be in the brothel. "Madam promised me a good job, but it didn't live up to my expectations..he took me from the street, then brought me here and it turns out ... I was only made a sex slave to men ... Sometimes I want to go back to being a bum instead of this," she continued languidly, staring at the beautiful red twilight clouds.

"You can."

"We can, but we need a careful plan. For example, when we serve customers in a place, then we run away," Clarissa said, glancing at Daisy who looked uninspired. "But why didn't you do that when Mr. Alexander took you out of here? You could have run away then."

Daisy smiled faintly, took a sip of her tea, and then glanced at Clarissa who looked elegant with long and straight hair, wearing a white dress with closed sleeves.

"If I ran away at that time, it means you don't have friends here anymore," she said casually. "I can't possibly want to leave this place without you, because you are the best for me."

"Yeah, we're besties," Clarissa said with a little chuckle, glancing at Daisy who was so casually wearing gray shorts combined with a cream tank top with an open waist and letting her hair down just like that. "I won't leave this place without you either."

"That's why I also refused Richard's invitation. He is weird and acts like a hero even though he doesn't have the ability," said Daisy, sipping her tea again while remembering the several times she met Richard in the room.

"He bought me, but he doesn't want me to serve him. He makes promises that are very hard for me to believe," she continued.

"But maybe he wants to help you," Clarissa said, already knowing what Richard looked like.

"I guess it's useless..madam would tell Jacob and the others to get me again, then I would end up being tortured. Leaving here without a sound mind is too risky." Daisy recalled Orlando being in control of the brothel operation. . . "If we report to the police about what was done to Madam Nicole then it's useless because Orlando will protect her."

"He didn't come here again after you bit him," Clarissa said.

Daisy smiled faintly, remembering the night that she and Orlando had fought so badly.

"Maybe he hasn't recovered... Or maybe he's out of town to avoid his wife so she doesn't see his valuables hurt," she said with great satisfaction.

"I hope I never serve him again. He's crazy," Clarissa said then rushed back to her tea while setting the scene until her attention was drawn to a car that entered the brothel area. she continued to watch the car because it seemed familiar to her until finally, she saw a man who got out of the car turned out to be Pierce. "Oh my God... He's coming again!"

"Who?" Daisy looked out into the yard and saw Pierce open the passenger door until someone came out of it. "Alexander... He came..."

"So that's Alexander?" Clarissa asked, keeping her eyes down on Alexander and Pierce.

"Yeah, before he let me go back to this place he promised to come again and promised freedom for me," Daisy replied angrily, glancing at Clarissa who had wanted Pierce so badly from the start. "I'll try to get him to suggest Pierce buy you," she continued.

"Don't don't do that… I don't want someone to have to buy me and torture me," Clarissa exclaimed with a look that turned sad. "If Mr. Alexander is going to get you out of here. You have to be willing Because it's an opportunity."

"No, I would never leave this place without you. And I can't just trust Mr. Alexander either... I wouldn't be blown away, because the sweetness of a man's promise is unbelievable... not at all!" Daisy insisted, not wanting to see Clarissa sad.

"But Daisy..."

"Don't trust too much that he will free me from this place because madam will ask him so much money that he will never give the money...I'm sure he will only use me for one night then return me here again like before…..a perfect man like him can't possibly buy trash like me," Daisy said somewhat annoyed because Clarissa wanted her to be free while she couldn't necessarily be free herself.

"We'd better get in now...I want to hear what he said to the madam," she continued and then walked back into the room.

Clarissa sighed, quickly the following Daisy into the room again. she became curious and wanted to go to the ground floor immediately, to see Pierce who might be in the living room dealing with Nicole. The girl still hopes that the man she loves will buy her, at least she can feel what it's like to make love to him.

"Deal, and don't tell Daisy this," said Alexander sternly, looking at Nicole who smiled contentedly as she stared at the slightly opened bag.

Nicole closed the bag again, then hid it behind her back when she saw Daisy and Clarissa coming down the stairs.

"Ah, she's here," Nicole said, then glanced at Jacob who was standing by the couch. "Hey, you better get her to get ready. No need to bring a lot of clothes," she continued.

"All right, madam," Jacob said, rushing over to the stairs to greet Daisy and Clarissa.

Alexander and Pierce stared at Daisy unblinkingly, as if in awe of them.

"What is it?" Daisy asked.

"You have to prepare, tonight you spend the night with Mr. Alexander," Jacob replied with a flat look.

Daisy glanced at Alexander who smiled at her, making her sick of the look and smile. But at least she was relieved because Jacob said she was only spending the night with the man, not bought for good because she didn't want to leave without Clarissa.

"Daisy, you better get ready, Mr. Alexander doesn't have much time to wait for you," Nicole said softly.

Daisy was just silent, feeling like throwing up at Nicole's gentle attitude towards her because the reality was the complete opposite.

"Come on, I'll help you get ready," Clarissa said in a whisper.

"No, you just sit next to the madam, or wherever so Pierce is interested in buying you," Daisy said quietly and then quickly walked to her room.

Clarissa glanced at Pierce who looked at her with a flat gaze, making her feel pessimistic. she chose to follow Daisy to the room because she did not feel that she would be bought by the man. Hmm, but don't they want each other?
