Pipi got down from the carriage. She looked ecstatic, as it had been quite a while since they visited the town. Lia stepped out behind her, and all eyes in the square focused on her with curiosity.

The streets of Corsor were filled with people who were shopping. It was bustling with the sounds of haggling voices in front of the stalls, the upbeat outcry of the newspaper boy, and the giggling of the ladies exchanging hellos.

"I shall lead the way today, my lord."

It was the first time Lia and Pipi had visited the town alone. Pipi eagerly led Lia to the popular pancake shop and then later to the store that sold the highest-quality ribbons.
