"Alright, let's not waste any more time. I will wait for you here. Be careful." Laura had countless words in her heart that she wanted to say at that moment. She was very worried about him. But her cold nature got in her way.

"I am going then." Even though the Empress did not show it on her face, inside she was very worried. As William's teacher, as his aunt, as the Empress, and as the person who is in love with this little Incubus King, she was very worried about him. The current William was like a driver without any driving experience. And this is exactly what worried her so much.

After walking inside the energy dome, he stopped using the mana bubble. The entrance of the Mansion was two giant dark red doors made from unknown metal. The doors were about 15 meters in size.

The dark red giant doors were closed. The doors would open unless the two conditions for entering the Labyrinth are fulfilled. After standing in the line for a while, it was finally his turn. He walked up to the dark red door and put his right palm on the dark red door.

[Ding! Checking the user's nature affinity?]

[Ding! Dark nature found. The first requirement has been cleared.]

[Ding! Checking the user's level]

[Ding! The user's level is 0, The second requirement also has been cleared.]

[Ding! The user is now allowed to enter the Labyrinth of Night Lord]

'Labyrinth of Night Lord? Who is Night Lord?' Over the years, William has read hundreds of history books but he has never heard that name before. Something told William that this Labyrinth was not some ordinary Labyrinth.

The 15 meters huge doors were opened for William. If someone tried to use this opportunity and tried to sneak in, their body would immediately be turned to ash. William has seen that happening with his own eyes.

After stepping inside, William turned around and gave a smile to Laura before the doors were closed.

When the doors closed, before William could take his time to look at the interior of the Mansion, he was teleported.

He suddenly felt the space around him twist. When he opened his eyes, he was standing under the 9 meters big tree. The only thing that was around him was grassland. Far beyond the grassland, he could see some trees.

"It looks like the Labyrinth has teleported me to the 1st floor."

Before entering the Labyrinth, Will heard from Laura that so far no one has managed to kill the boss of the first floor. "I wonder if I can take the first kill. Well, there is no use in waiting here."

Swoosh!

William started heading toward the north as he could see a forest beyond the huge grassland. The green grass reached was around 15 to 20 centimeters long. "It will take me days if not weeks to cross this prairie." William run at a moderate speed as he wanted to save his stamina for future battles.

"I think another big reason why no one has managed to kill the first-floor boss is everyone is also stuck on this endless prairie like me." After running for a few minutes, William stopped as he spotted a slight movement within the grasses.

"It's coming in my direction." Will took out his black sword while waiting for this creature to come near him. And that moment finally came. When the creature was only 4 meters away from Will, it jumped from behind, trying to kill William with a single strike.

But William reacted faster. He turned around and swung his black sword.

Bang!

"So it turned out to be a demonic rabbit." The demonic rabbit was a little bigger than normal rabbits. They had red eyes and sharp fangs.

[Demonic Rabbit

Age: - 12 hour

Level 4

Racial Skill: - Bite, agility, digging]

"Too weak." William picked up the body of the demonic rabbit. He had cut off its head and took its body with him. "In this journey, I will need food. Even though Laura has made me bring some food and healing potions, taking extra measures wouldn't hurt." Also, William suddenly felt like having this rabbit's meat. He heard that demonic rabbit meat tasted really good.

Like this William continued his journey toward the north. Days kept on passing. He would run for the whole day and then rest for a few hours. The only times that William stopped running were when he felt thirsty or hungry or needed to kill demonic rabbits.

With each passing day, William was getting tired of this endless prairie. No matter how much he runs, the endless grassland does not seems to end. The same scenery was starting to make him feel suffocated.

Without realizing a whole one week passed, William still couldn't get out of the endless prairie. "Man, why is this prairie not ending?" Looking at the forest in the north, he felt he was still miles away from the forest. Even though the forest looks near, in reality, it was very far away from him.

"I feel like I am running in circles. It feels like this week I barely covered any distance but in reality, I have traveled more than 200 km already."

It was nighttime. Under the moonlight, William lay on the grass. Other than that tree where he had found himself teleported, he hasn't seen a single tree in this endless prairie.

As he lay on the grass, William looked at the round moon. Ever since he came to this place, he has been seeing this full moon every night. "Full moon? Wait a minute" William suddenly stood up after realizing something very serious.

"What if I was caught in an illusion?" The more Will thought the more this theory of this made sense. First of all, no matter how much he run, he would always find the prairie never-ending. Second, he has been seeing the full moon for the whole week now.

"And third, if others were in this prairie, then I should have come across at least of them, or at least I should have seen some signs."

"So this is really an illusion. To think I was caught in the illusion and didn't notice it for an entire week."

[Ding! Congratulations to William for finding the right answer.]

[Ding! William has been rewarded 100 karma points.]

[Ding! The user is the first person to break the illusion. Extra 100+ Karma points have been rewarded.]

A bright white light enveloped William as he suddenly found himself at the same place from where he was teleported. William looked around only to realize that all the people who came to this Labyrinth are still trapped in the illusion. The people were standing in one place like a frozen statue. Their eyes lacked the shine of a living person.

Click!

[Ding! The host is now eligible to enter the second phase of the challenge]

William saw the doors of the Mansion being opened up for him. "Second phase of the challenge? I thought I was supposed to hunt monsters and clear floors." William did not understand what was happening at this point. He was fully confused.

"Since I here might as well clear the challenges and see what I get." William walked through the doors. After he entered, the doors of the Mansion were closed.

He now found himself standing in the living room of the Mansion. There were empty couches, carpets, and other types of furniture. The whole living room was dark. William was barely able to see anything.

[Ding! The second phase of the challenge will begin.]

[Ding! For the second phase, the user will need to answer 3 riddles. If the user fails to answer even one question, then the user will be disqualified and kicked out of the Labyrinth.]

"Riddles? I was never good with riddles." William played riddles with his sisters before. And man that was his worst nightmare. He was crushed by his sisters. William still remembers that day very well.

[First question: - I build up castles. I tear down mountains. I make some men blind, I help others to see. What am I?]

[The user has only 5 minutes to answer each question.]

"I build up castles and I tear down mountains. I make some men blind and I help others see."

William thought for some time and replied in a hesitant tone. "Is it dwarves? No, it's not. Dwarves cannot make men blind and also help others."

"It's sand."

[Ding! 50+ karma points have been rewarded to the user.]

[Next question: - I have the power to turn good into evil and evil into good. I can make a son kill his mother and a mother kill her son. I can corrupt people's minds. What I am?]

The second question was way harder than the first question. William remained silent, lost in his deep. 'I think the answer is Lust. But something does not match up.' William closed his eyes and began to think. He sat on the floor and cleared his mind. He completely ignored the 5 minutes time limit.

"It's greed."

[Ding! 50+ karma points have been rewarded to the user.]

[Last question: - You stick your poles inside me. You tie me down to get me up. I get wet before you do. What am I?]

Cough!

'What's with the last question?' William was about to reply the 5 letter word that came to his mind but at the last second, he realized that this riddle wasn't that simple.

".....Tent"

[Ding! 50+ karma points have been rewarded to the user.]

[Ding! Congratulations to the host for being the first person to clear the second phase.]

[Ding! An additional 150+ karma points have been rewarded to the user.]
