Ryan chuckled as he watched the girls, and Q, pile into the car. He had been dying to go with them. But he had to finish up a few things before the wedding, and as much as he didn't want to, it was prudent he called his father. 


He may not wish to talk to the man, but Arthur needed to know that they were fulfilling their end of the bargain. 


Ryan was also hoping to pacify his father enough that they wouldn't have to get to the whole "popping out an heir" right away. 


Nyrissa had asked for some time, and he wanted to honor her wishes. They NEEDED that time to get to know each other as a family, especially now that they had added Natalie in. This was important to Nyrissa, so it was important to him... to them. 


That was the biggest reason he had decided to call his father. While he felt he was missing out since he couldn't see Nyrissa pick out her dress, this felt much more important.
