When Nyrissa walked into the dress shop, she honestly thought Quentin had taken them into a friend's mansion.
She was relieved that they weren't planning on spending an exorbitant amount of money on a dress. Nyrissa had no problem borrowing a dress for the day. It would be less expensive and better for everyone.
But when the ladies came out with drinks and snacks for everyone, then grabbed Nyrissa and led her back to the dressing rooms, she realized how much she had been mistaken.
The women immediately swooped in with what felt like hundreds of wedding dresses, though it might have only been five.
"Don't forget Natalie and Mandy!" Quentin told the women.
"Us?!" Natalie and Mandy said simultaneously.
They were obviously excited. Nyrissa could hear that in their voices when they spoke. She sighed heavily, feeling the weight of the moment in her chest. She didn't want to spoil their fun, didn't want to ruin this moment.
