"I am coming to realize that," Nryissa replied with a sardonic smile. "The things you have done for Natalie, even though she is not your sister, have shown me just how sweet and kind you both truly are. I apologize for it taking so long." 


Quentin squeezed her hand. "It's alright, Nyrissa. You've gone through a lot. Anyone would be cautious under those circumstances." 


"Exactly," Ryan agreed with him. "It doesn't matter, either way, sweetheart. What matters is that you are talking to us now."
