They all felt it was perfect. Ryan and Quentin could continue their relationship, and Nyrissa would have the security she needed. But the attraction was soon too much for them to ignore.

When they finally broke apart, Nyrissa felt silly about how she reacted to Natalie's declaration. It made her feel amazing that Natalie wanted to ensure she was taken care of. It had been even more wonderful to know that Ryan and Quentin felt the same way.


After all the years of knowing Ryan and Quentin, she thought it odd that it took this long for her to see that they could be trusted. That was something that she was going to have to remember. Maybe it was time to give them the complete truth and take a risk. 


She just wished that she didn't still feel the overwhelming fear.


"Well, now that we got all that out of the way... can we eat? We didn't purposely drop by during dinner time so that we could starve," Paul's voice came from the dining room table.


Nyrissa craned her neck to see Sam and Paul had indeed taken a seat at the table. They were sitting right next to Mandy, who looked like she had just swallowed a bug which still trying to sting her tongue.
