By the time Nyrissa got showered and dressed, everyone was downstairs in the kitchen. Natalie was excitedly chatting about school and all the classes that she was going to be taking. 


Ryan and Quentin listened intently and let Natalie carry on as they got coffee and breakfast ready. 


As soon as Nyrissa entered the room, Natalie turned to her with the same amount of excitement.


Quentin moved around the counter and pressed a kiss on Nyrissa's forehead.


"Hey, sugar. You look amazing as always," Quentin whispered in her ear. 


Nyrissa smiled happily at him. She loved his little compliments. Of course, she felt like he would say that if she walked out of the bedroom in a paper bag.


"Thank you, Q," Nyrissa replied, taking up Ryan's habit of shortening his name.
