Nyrissa woke late that afternoon and was shocked at how well she felt. It was almost as if she hadn't gotten sick at all. She slowly pushed herself out of bed, cautiously waiting for nausea to come swooping back. But the only thing she felt was hunger.


Nyrissa barely managed to get a quick shower in before she jerked her clothes on and headed downstairs to grab some food.


The kitchen was empty, but Nyrissa could hear the music coming from the backyard. Natalie must still be out back gathering some sun and reading.


She threw some fruit and a few eggs together on a plate, then went out to join her sister by the pool.


"Hey!" Natalie greeted her with a wide smile. "Look who's up!" 


"Hey, sis," Nyrissa replied with a smile. "How's it going?"
