It burns!!!
My body's temperature started to rise at a alarming rate,as I started to sweat bullets.
My blood started to boil and my eyes turned bloodshot.
My throat began to flare,I tried to keep whatever it is down but I couldn't.
Bleeuuurgghhh!!!
Instead of the normal stomach acids,a viscous black liquid came out instead carrying with it a putrid smell.
I thought my stomach would get better.
But.
That thought was proved wrong as my throat turned extremely parched.It felt like I traveled through the,Sahara Desert,for weeks without drinking a single drop of water.
The perspiration caused my shirt to be drenched in sweat and started to stick to my skin.
The moisture in my body slowly drained away and my muscles started to contract.
I couldn't cry as my tears were all dried up.
My body continued to burn for a few minutes before the temperature started to drop.

As if the heat was just a prelude to real pain,I could suddenly hear a faint popping sound.

As the sound grew more,the more pain I experienced.It was the sound of my bones breaking.
After each pop a wave of pain assaulted my nervous system.The pain caused my body to spasm and made it impossible to think straight.

My body suddenly started to bloat and my muscle tissue was torn apart and healed in mere moments.

Following the compressing of my muscles,a cold soothing aura penetrated my skin.
The aura healed my body bringing it back to its optimal state.

He ignored the system window as he laid there,still and unmoving.
The soothing aura might have eased his physical pain,but it didn't do anything about his mental exhaustion and stress.
He fainted as the pain proved too much.

Several hours later...
His eyes started to twitch.
Not long after his eyes started to open.
His emerald eyes was replaced by two crimson spheres.
He started to get up to his feet.
He turned towards the center of the room.
He looked at the sphere that stood there.
It had visibly dimmed.
With firm,measured steps he approached the floating orb.The mysterious pressure that weighed him down had all but disappeared and another feeling replaced it.
Like it was calling to him.
When he came in range of the orb he stretched out his hand towards it.
[Do you wish to absorb the [Core].Y/N]
"Yes",he answered in a monotonous voice.
The orb stirred slightly,before violently shaking.
Blue tendrils of gas started to leave the orb.The gas slowly drifted towards his body.The gas entered his body and a invigorating feeling of superiority overtook him.

The experience points allowed him to level up,but it didn't stop there.

Notifications continously went off in his head as his level constantly increased.

The notifications started to slow down after reaching [Lvl.20],and stopped increasing after reaching [Lvl.27].
The mist stopped flowing into his body.
But.
That only lasted a split second,before coming back more aggressively.
The energy slammed into his body,but his crimson eyes didn't flinch.
Pain coursed through his body but he didn't waver.
His eyes was dim as the energy moved through his body.
His muscles.
His bones.
Even his blood underwent a huge transformation.
His muscles gained new explosive power.
His bones was tempered,making them stronger than steel.
His blood was being burned and giving way to stronger cells evident by his rising blood purity.

The purity kept rising,but after reaching 20% the sharp rise began to settle down,and stopped at 28%.
The orb lost its luster and had several cracks spanning across it's body.
The cracks continued to spread before the orb shattered into many pieces.
William looked around the room,his eyes landed on the only opening in the room.
He walked over to the opening,which turned out to be a spiral staircase.
He walked down the staircase.
The steps were carved out of the walls,and didn't hold any significance.
It took him a few minutes to reach the end of the staircase.
After reaching the end the stairs expanded into another room.
Like the first floor he entered,this one also had several openings,but unlike the first floor only two was usable.
The others was sealed by rubble.
His eyes looked around the room and he chose one of the two.
He chose the only remaining opening on the western side.
The opening turned out to be a long tunnel.
He calmly walked throught the tunnel,his crimson eyes creating a terrifying sight.
He walked for a few minutes,before seeing the end of the tunnel.
He walked into the light.
Before him laid a vast expansion of forest.
The moon hung high overhead and the stars filled the night sky.
He walked into the thick brush of leaves,and started to navigate his way through the forest.
He walked through the muddy soil,stepped over intertwining vines but his facial expression didn't change once.
He still kept a blank face.
He walked and walked.His shirt got tangled so he chose to abandon it,and his hair was disheveled.
He kept walking until he couldn't anymore,as all that laid before him was a steep ledge.
His eyes closed and he fell to the ground.
Moments later he began to stirr and his eyelids fluttered open.
Hnnngghh.
He groaned his he stood up.His eyes returned to their normal emerald green.
He rubbed the back of his head as the cloud in his mind,began to subside.
Hmmmh.
Why am I bear chested?
And wasn't I in a cave?
He wanted to look around but the sight in front of him caught him off guard.
Huge walls covering a wide expanse.
A gate reaching the height of around 15meters.
And a long line infront of the gate.
Where the fuck is this?!!
