Spells And Skills Part 1

I looked at the ugly creature in front of me, still rubbing its head on my hand, and began thinking it was kind of cute. "Looks like I have a lot of studying ahead of me."

"Get as much in as possible because you will be going to the academy next year after the tournament." My mother said as she knelt down and began patting the ugly thing as well. It did not seem to mind it either. But my studying was not what was important at this time.

"I guess I still need to use my light magic to finish this up so we can go home," I said as I looked at the priest, who was still staring at the Blooddevil Imp in shock. I stood up, walked over to one of the knights at the side, and asked: "Can I see your sword for a moment, please?" With my hand stretched out toward him.

"Miss Bella, this sword is very heavy. I do not think you can lift it." The knight replied to me. He had a gentle smile on, so he was not trying to be rude. I can understand why he would think I couldn't use such a weapon. Most of them probably weighed at least my weight or more.

"It's fine. Hand it to her." My father spoke up on my behalf. The knight looked at him with a troubled expression before looking at the King, my uncle. When he saw my uncle nod, he let out a drawn out sigh and unsheathed his sword and flipped it around, and handed it to me hilt first.

"Thank you." After giving my thanks, I took the sword in one hand and swung it a few times. "Not bad, but sadly too long for me to use."

"This…" The knights in the room stared at me in shock. I guess that is a given, as I was a small little girl after all.

I then took the sword and held the blade to my hand, and pressed down while slicing the top of it. "Hey! What are you doing!?" The knight yelled out and quickly grabbed the sword from me.

I did not resist and let him take it while I hovered my hand over my wound and said: "Lesser Heal…."

A white magic circle appeared over my hand as a golden light rained down over the wound. The wound began to heal so fast that it was visible to the naked eye. In just a second, the wound was closed up with no evidence of me ever slicing it except for the blood that bled out and was still damp to the touch. I then looked at the speechless priest and said: "I think this proves I do not need the church to teach me anything, right?"

"Y-Yes…. It seems so…. Since you are able to cast such magic with such rare elements, you do not need our assistance. But if you ever need assistance from the church, our doors will always be open." The priest replied. He looked very much defeated. Not that I cared. Right now, anything that deals with churches is a no go for me at the moment. Even if this place only worships the elemental spirits.

And so my awakening came to an end. We said our goodbyes to the royal family before boarding our carriage. I will say one more good thing came out of this experience besides my tri element awakening, and that was that the princess seemed to be frightened of me now because she didn't even dare look at me. I guess a good smack to the face was enough to tell her not to think she could do as she pleases. Maybe now, with the proper discipline that she would soon be receiving, she would finally become a normal person and know that being a tyrant is wrong.

"Bella, you really made us proud today. Our Rinehart family will be a hot topic for a while. A daughter who is not only a tri element mage but also has three rare elements to match. But I must ask, why have you not de-summoned this little guy?" My father asked as he looked at the blooddevil Imp in my arms.

"Hmmm? He doesn't want to go back. He eats my mana anyways, and it's only a small amount, so it's fine." I answered while rubbing the little guy's head, I think it's a guy anyway. I didn't really want to de-summon him anyways since I kinda got attached to him even though he looks ugly.

"You must have a lot of mana, huh?" My father's question was a good one. Because I really did not know how much mana I had. Thinking of this, I tapped the air in front of me and opened my menu. There were now three new buttons at the bottom. "Hmmm? Why is there a null spell shop?" I was a bit confused because I never got a notification for it. I clicked the button for the null spell shop to see a list of spells, all for the null element. And to be honest, I was quite surprised to see such a huge list. "Over ninety thousand spells?" I stared at the number at the bottom that read showing 100/90000. This shop reminded me of the online shops I used to use in my second life. It had a filter system and everything, so I could even filter it by spells I could purchase.

What I found interesting was that I could actually purchase things in this shop with angel and demon shop points. This came in handy because I really did not want to buy anything more from the demon shop at this time. However, I am not sure if this will give the demons any points if I used the demon shop points in the null shop. Just something about picturing that impotent demon with a smug face as he gains another point for the demons was something that kind of irked me.

But this shop automatically brought up something that caught my eye. "Lesser Analytic Eye…" I clicked the spell in the shop and began reading its details. "Allows the user to read some details about a target.... Well, it only costs one point, so I guess it is worth it if I can gain information about things." I mumbled to myself under the watchful eyes of my family.

As soon as I hit the purchase button a notification popped up in front of me.
