Angel Points

Currently, I have a serious problem. A certain princess was latching on to me as if her life depended on it, and a certain king was glaring at me as if I stole something from him. "Princess Leslie, can you let go of me, please."

"Leslie…." Princess Leslie mumbled. I knew what she wanted, but it was not good for me to break my status and call a princess directly by her name only without her title. I looked up at my mother for some help, but she just stood there smiling at me as if she was watching something amusing. I do wonder if she really thinks my suffering is really that entertaining.

"Princess Les…"

"Leslie…"

"Princes…."

"Leslie….."

"Leslie…" I gave up. She seemed very adamant about me calling her by her name.

"Yes, Bella!?" Princess Leslie raised her head with a big smile.

"Can you please let go? I need to talk with Uncle…." I asked. And to my surprise, she was very obedient and let go of me, allowing me to breathe a sigh of relief.

As I went to walk over to my uncle, I heard a cry from the side. "I can't save him! There is something wrong with his heart. I can't heal it with medicine alone!"

I turned and saw a child around my age lying on the ground holding his chest and a forehead full of sweat. I did not even need to think before I transformed into my angel form and appeared at the boy's side. "Lesser Heal..."

A golden white light flowed out of my hand and into the boy's chest. The pained expression on his face slowly subsided. The doctors stared at me from the side with an expression of shock and reverence. Not exactly the reaction I wanted. "This… A goddess?"

"Goddess, my ass!" I shouted. I turned and kicked the doctor in the shin. The hell is he trying to pin me with those bastards for!? The thing I hate most in this new life are gods, goddesses, angels, and demons! They can all rot in hell for all I care.

I finished healing the brat next to me before standing up and walking over to my uncle while at the same time checking my menu.

Looks like saving someone is worth five angel points. Not bad now, I can finally get the skill I spotted a little while ago.

[Acquired Passive skill: Heavenly Regeneration (Level 0)]

I ignored the strange looks I got from people as I tapped on the air because I now had Heavenly Regeneration. If I were to get hurt, this passive skill reduces the time it would take to heal, which is very useful. I will need to level the crap out of this. I wonder… Should I go to the hospital and try to gain more points? Wait, how much are the points for the next level… "Geh… 100 points." I guess good things do not come for free.

As I was lost in thought, I noticed something was off. I turned to see everyone frozen in time once more. Not even a second later, a golden pillar of light appeared, and a handsome man with white feathered wings landed on the ground in front of me. "You can leave. I have no interest in speaking to shitheads."

"You jest. My name is Azrael. Ruler of the Virtue of Patience." Azrael replied, seemingly ignoring the fact that I just called him a shithead.

"Do you people up in whatever domain you are from realize I have no need or want to speak to any of you shitheads who think my life is nothing more than a means of playing a game of chess? Do you really think I care about who is winning your little game?" I sneered as I continued: "I will let you know now that no matter what, the winner will be me."

I watched as Azrael's eyebrows twitched at my words. Seeing them break character each time really made my day. "Anyway, back to whatever cesspool you live in, I have things to do."

At this moment, I could audibly hear the ruler of the virtue of patience grinding his teeth. So much for being virtuous. I sighed as I turned around and continued walking toward my uncle. When I saw that the stupid angel had not left yet I turned around and asked: "Are you in love with me or something? Because if you are, you are one sick bastard. I am only five. If you are not, then scurry back to whatever hole you climbed out of."

"I will take my leave then…." Azrael growled as he disappeared into golden particles causing me to let out a laugh. "So much for being righteous. I wonder if he will fall soon and become a fallen angel? That sounds kind of amusing. I should do that. Make all the angels fall until they die!"

"Umm… Bella, what are you talking about?" My uncle brought me back from my inner thoughts. I smiled at him brightly as I answered: "Destroying the heavens!"

"Pfft!" My mother began laughing behind me while my father held his head. What? I was being serious! I really wanted to destroy it all and then be free of this curse of them trying to control my life!

I watched as my uncle looked at my parents in confusion, but I just ignored it and said: "Anyway, I would suggest hiring more guards to patrol the slums. Kids should not suffer like this. Build some proper orphanages and keep a good eye on them so people can't embezzle the money. This many orphans running the streets does not look good for this kingdom. Please do your job!"
