Leaving

I woke up to the sun shinning in my face and I yawned while getting up off the ground.

I then quickly looked around me to see if any abnormalities happened around me while I was sleep, and thankfully nothing looked out of ordinary, at least for a forest.

I then huffed and said "I need to leave this forest, from what I can tell there is no sign of intelligence life anywhere.

One perk I noticed about my new race is that I don't seem to get hungry, or more specifically I don't need to rely on food as much as other people might need to, I still had a bit of an appetite but it wasn't something that I couldn't ignore.

I looked around me and just decided to start travelling in a random direction, that's the only choice I had since I had no idea of where I was, or a sense of direction of this place.

I then started to just travel south at a straight line.

30 Minutes into my walk I huffed and said "At the speed I'm going I doubt I will make any progress."

I then came up with a sudden idea and thought "What if I just start travelling by trees."

I didn't have a second thought and quickly jumped atop of a near by tree, than to another, and soon on.

I was leaping one by one of trees and the speed was pretty good, my feet weren't getting agitated or anything so it was fine.

After one hour of travelling I quickly stopped onto a tree and looked to my left, I saw a large river flowing and it was crystal clear too.

Even though I could barely get hungry, I was still craving a drink of water, my mouth was parched and the source of water immediately attracted me.

I jumped to the river from the tree and quickly dipped my whole head into the water and started drinking greedily.

This lasted for about 5 minutes or so, and I lifted my head up and took in the feeling of water hitting my mouth.

After that, I looked down at the water and noticed my reflection and was taken aback, I had frost white hair like I could tell from the first time, I also had a deep but bright purple eyes, and I had long pointy ears, like an elf out of a fantasy.

I looked at myself for a minute in awe and said "I never seen someone with purple eyes like mine, they are really...mesmerizing, and my ears, surely this will attract a lot of attention like my eyes, and my hair... although it isn't common I'm sure there are other people with white hair like me."

I then talked again saying "That being said, I will still need some sort of hood to cover myself, or at-least my face..."

I shook my head setting that thought aside and said "Forget it, I will deal with that problem when the time comes."

I then stared at the crystal clear lake and said "I want to soak myself in here..." I quickly got up of the ground and started to look around me to make sure no one was around, and once I made sure I stripped off my clothes and quickly jumped into the lake.

It was refreshing letting the cool water soak onto your body as I floated atop the lake while the water was pushing me wherever it was going.

I then got out of my reverie and quickly started to swim around to take the most out of this lake.

After a few minutes of that, I headed back to the spot where my clothes were at, and dried under the sun for a few and put back on my clothes.

I then looked back and jumped back onto the same tree I came from and started travelling again.

After another hour of travelling I started to get bored and huffed, I then called out to the system while still travelling and said...

"System, are their other ways I can increase my yin and yang attribute?"

the system replied saying..

[Yes host, specifically you can increase you're yin attribute my having intercourse with the opposite gender, for yang you cannot, you can only increase that with cultivating.]

"..."

I didn't know what too say to that but I made sure to keep that in mind for the future, though it wasn't like I was planning to do that with every girl I see in the future, but it was good to keep that in mind.

I looked at the notification that popped up briefly before I closed out the panel.

I looked ahead of me and it looked like I almost had no process of leaving this forest, but I still kept going.

"I wonder just how big this forest is." I said with content, if it was this big I kind of hoped I landed somewhere else other than this forest, or at-least closer to the outer area.

I then had an idea "Can't I just infuse my yin and yang energy into my legs so I could travel faster?" I didn't let this thought subside and quickly tried it out.

I focused my attention to the shallow sphere that was at the center of my stomach, then the energy in my body and sent a good amount of it to my legs.

Then as soon as this action happened, I suddenly gained a huge boost of strength into my legs and my speed was tripled than before.

I then wondered and said "Wait, if I have yin and yang energy, what's the point of mana for me?"

I quickly asked the system that and it replied saying...

[That is for you to find out in the future what you can apply mana too.]

I looked at the message with curiosity and said "Forget it, I will have to come up with some use of mana in the future."

After another two hours of travelling I sighed, Just when I was about to lose hope something caught my attention, I quickly looked up and noticed there was a huge wall in the distance, it was grey in color and had carvings of something I didn't know on it, it's height was unknown as even if I looked up I couldn't see the top.

I then stopped travelling from trees and started to run on foot on the ground, I didn't want to harvest attention for myself in the slightest.

I then could see the end of the forest and I quickly rushed towards it, just when I was about to jump out into the light, I stopped in my tracks and said "Wait, will my appearance attract people?"

I then looked up and there was a line of people waiting to go through some sort of gate, I looked at the people appearance specifically to see if I would be out of the ordinary.

And sure enough, I definitely was, no one had pointy ears like me, or even the odd purple eyes I had, I didn't even see people with white hair.

I then said "Everyone looks really...ordinary"

I huffed and said "I need some sort of hood."

As if someone was answering my prayers I saw someone on the corner of my eye wearing one, although they didn't have a the hood on, I definitely saw one on the back.

He was walking towards the crowd, and before he could I had to do something, I then came up with an idea and took action quickly.

I launched towards him to my right before he could join the crowd mid air, and grabbed him by his face with my right hand, and slammed his head onto the ground in the forest.

I then quickly covered his mouth before he could scream, and all that I could hear was muffled cry of help.

I looked at him with a cold expression and he was look at me with a horrifying look, I then quickly took out my knife from my storage and stabbed him in his neck and ended his life immediately.

I took the hood off his body and threw the dead body deep into the forest, I quickly put on the cloak and put on the hoodie and walked into the crowd.

Before I did though I obviously put the knife away, I had on no shoes but that was the least of my worries, once I was in the line people were looking at me with disgust, they thought I was some sort of beggar and they even distance themselves from me.

I then said under my breath "Sure enough, even humans in another world are still the same, now I won't have any remorse when killing whoever I needed to kill in the future."

But then a sudden thought came up in my mind, "Wait if I'm not human doesn't that mean there are other races besides humans in this world."

Now I was more eager to explore this world, and many other worlds if possible while getting stronger.

I then set that thought aside and waited in line until it was my turn, I noticed that there were guards at the front checking people making sure they didn't have any dangerous weapons or substances.

I sighed in relief and thanked the storage system I had in the system and waited patiently for my turn...
