The surrounding was slowly engulfed in a darkness that covered the outside to the tree line blocking any moonlight from reaching my eyes. As the smoke approaches the rune inside the lantern lit up a bright blue light repelling the smoke from coming closer, it felt as if the smoke was eating away at my soul striking fear. "Ding"

What is going on how do I stop this fear was taking over her mind, scaring her that she might lose control trying to calm herself as desperately as she tried it kept going from sixteen to forty percent. In fear of what might happen, she tried to close her eyes and lay down inside the bag curling up and calming herself "It's fine" she repeat these words. Her last notification "Ding"

As she fell into a deep void sleeping still as a log nearby the man did not notice. As her worse nightmare, she is now falling through nothingness empty as something can be, almost....suffocating slowly the darkness disappears. "ahhhhh" waking up while still screaming inside her mind with peering eyes she peeks out of the bag looking directly into the man eyes, while waking up she made a sudden yelp, confused they both stare at each other for a moment scanning around her spotting nothing it must have been a nightmare embarrass and lower her self down the bag.
Noticing that he woke up early and went out to hunt something to eat, similar to the rabbit she ate the other day It was slightly bigger with a darker fur pattern and red eyes. Weirdly it resembled a monster more than a rabbit, taking out his knife he started to skin the beast.

While reading her stats she notice that it was not a dream but instead the "corruption" was real, remember what happen last night she was still shaking. The man looked over seeing her shaking trying to comfort her "hfle eat" Confused on how she just understood his last word "eat?" as soon as she finish "Ding" -

Oh, so I CAN learn their language by just listening? or was that just me trying to communicate with him? Looking up he sliced a piece of meat off the hare that he was skinning and placed it right in front of her, coming closer to the slice of meat she again smell the sweet tingly feeling as if it was candy, it was still fresh and warm chewing and swallowing she had less of a hard time eating this piece than anything yet just needed it to cook a little.
Afterward, the man stood up packing everything, he picked to up and placed me back into the pack as I was sitting, trying to climb back out he spoke "Its alright sit still" following his advice and thinking back, there is no way that she could walk let alone travel she would just become a snack for wildlife as she was a little bigger than a newborn kitten. Her best option was to travel with someone, yet she felt guilty and useless as she was just extra weight for him to carry.
But if she stayed she would not survive another day by herself, thinking over this she wanted to thank him but without a way of speaking she could only look at him again. Seemingly he glanced at her with a smile, shock she just sat back down. He went around the clearing and traced that we had been here, walking to a nearby creek which was still cold as the snow was just melting. the forest was filled with dead plants and trees, such a scary feeling she thought.
As she is now behind his back being carried. Continuing their journey onward they walked back to the route that lead to town as far as she can guess. Still, a long way to go and a world to discover this put her in a brighter mood, unlike her boring life she can change her destiny.
Only time can tell what will happen next. Destiny will guide her...
