I admit that towards the end of the date about what happened, I just couldn't make a decision that whether it was a boon or bane for my current feelings. It was some fleeting moments of warmth that floated between Alyssa and I, and the world ceased to exist as it did. I could almost hear the beat of her heart as though I had developed superhuman tendencies. 


When her hands were balancing themselves on my chest, her face caressed by the skin of my neck, I had frozen in my place with an almost overwhelming force of nature. I had never been this close to someone, but suddenly, being close to her, seemed so... simple.
