The period of Training.

Kaiser was now ten years old. The mansion he stayed, it was allocated to him specifically. They also assigned maids to take care of him. All of this was arranged by the Empress. So no one objected to her decision. However, these raised more questioning gazes at the boy. But none could go to her and ask her about the human boy.

The dragons, a prideful race. that they think, to shelter a human and provide him the benefits that even a few noble dragons couldn't get. On top of that, The human boy was getting trained under Jian.

Even though Jian was only a half-dragon, he was recognized only after showcasing his strength. He overpowered them with his unparalleled sword arts. That was why a few of them wanted to learn the swords which they thought was child's play.

Kaiser, in his recent three years in the mansion. lived a leisurely life. He was told to do basic training. Other than training, he spent most of his time in the library.

The books contained vast knowledge about magic. He started reading books and gradually developed an interest in magic. The miracle energy source enables one to perform unimaginable wonders. The magic uses the energy called mana, which everyone has in their bodies. Not all living beings were born with it.

The mana in one's body is located at the center. It is a circular energy source in the body to store the mana and circulate it.

Kaiser learned most about magic energy through the books stored in the library. He then started practicing the magic which he later that it was not so easy to do so.

After enquiring on how to sense one's magical energy from Jian, he then again began to meditate. This process continued for several months in the starting year.

A while later, He was able to sense the mana in his body.

Like so, he put the mana into use.

In the empire, the dragon's magic was hailed as one of the most powerful magic. As the peak experts in magic, they held a significant amount of intel regarding magic casting. A way to ensure the use of one's potential mana they have. It means to t say that, to completely use one's mana in them to exert and put them into action.

The spells will utilize the elements of nature and others. In turn, the user can be able to access the natural elements.

Kaiser who started reading to spend his leisure time was engrossed in the books. He wanted to learn the magic which was said to be the most powerful tool to make anyone invincible with enough potential talent.

Kaiser immersed himself in books and developed a heavy amount of wisdom about magic energy. The books developed which were written by the predecessor of the dragons had very unique and intricate writings. The language they used was runic and it's the most common language of magic.

In all these three years, most of the time he spent in the library in the latter two years. To learn the runic language he had to put in extra effort into reading and writing.

Jian, at first paid no attention to Kaiser. He was going to just give him 'some training' and get it done with. Usually, he did not have any tasks. He was responsible for the protection of the Empress. He was only given orders directly from the Mary

As the days passed, he absorbed Kaiser more. The more he watched, the more he was surprised by the continuous feats of Kaiser. The young man's perception of learning things amazed Jian. He then started paying attention to him.

Kaiser's unusual performance made him stunned. As he was thinking about Kaiser like that. A few days ago Kaiser came approached while asking him to train him with a sword.

In just a few days he was reading and practicing magic and now he wanted to learn the way of the sword. And he has brought a 'recommendation' of his own.

Jian and Theo talked for a while, leaving the former Theo left the grounds.

After the missing Emperor for several years, the empire was in turmoil. The news of his death was not known till now even after three years. As the matter progressed, Mary decided to declare his death.

The death of Blodig was announced. After they have arranged the funeral for him. The whole empire was shocked to hear the news. The strongest emperor was dead and the reason was that he fought with someone and lost to him in the battle. This left the entire people of the empire terrified. They already knew that emperor Blodig was the strongest dragon in their star. To kill him, just how strong was the opponent? Who was the one that killed him?

They all had these questions running through them.

While these were thoughts some of them had, others had different thoughts and saw it as an opportunity. Now that Blodig was gone, they could aim for the throne.

In the Imperial family, Blodig had a brother. He was an elder brother of Blodig. When Blodig was present he would not have come out but now that he was gone, he appeared in the court hall.

Mary was sitting on the throne, she placed her side chin on her right-leaning to the right. She had a solemn expression on her face.

On either side of the court, they were officials and ministers seated. Near the throne, a man who seemed to be in his fifties was sitting on a seat. He was the elder brother of Blodig, Carl. He wore a robe with golden strips on either side. Like Blodig, he didn't have much strength. But he has a very cunning mind.

In the hall, all of them have gathered today regarding the death of the Emperor. If he was gone, who would protect them from future threats and more importantly, the unknown enemy who killed Blodig? Will he stay silent after killing the emperor?

"I know you all are worried about the one who killed the emperor. But I can guarantee that he is no threat to us. You can take my word for it." Mary after their endless talking told them her thoughts.

Mary still remained with a solemn expression, watching the entire hall.
