Jian shook his head and he had no choice but to follow.
Jian is the strongest swordsman present in the empire to date. He is a half-dragon and half-elf. From a young age, he couldn't transform completely into a dragon. Later on, he decided to follow the path of swordsmanship and reached the apex level in the realm of swords.
Jian was a follower of Mary. He has been under her for a long time. Since then he followed only her orders and served under her.
Jian's swordsmanship was unparalleled in the empire. Even the prideful dragons, a few of the young ones were eager to learn swordsmanship.
But not all the dragons were interested in swords, when it comes to them they just say 'our claws are enough.
Some high noble elves come from other regions just to learn under him and seek guidance in their cultivation of swords.
They were only both of them in the field. Only selected personnel were allowed to the field. If the people of the empire were to see Kaiser now, they would be so much envious of him. Now Kaiser was getting trained by him.
All these things were unknown to a very young boy.
A few weeks passed by.
Kaiser was running his morning routine. He was in much better shape compared to a few weeks back. His weak was starting to get a little bit of muscle. He ate the beast's meat, which also contains rich amounts of mana.
To use magic, one should have the mana in their bodies and have an affinity with it.
Kaiser was given many books regarding magic and its elemental powers. They were several elemental powers, a individual generally has an affinity with the elements of nature. They were born with it. The most efficient affinity with elements was eleven people. They are strongly considered experts when it comes to elemental powers. In addition to this, they have a strong connection with spirits. It has been said that eleven people worship the forest as their sacred place and mother nature as their goddess.
On Hydra star, the percentage of elven people was second to the dragon race. They live in the lush green wilderness.
Kaiser was taught how to read and write. Although many people had different languages and wrote scripts, when it comes to magic, they all had the same language. It was a runic language. Since from the ages, all they used was this runic language. They are a set of alphabets that were unique and easy to help the understanding of magic.
Kaiser, despite his age, showed much interest in everything he was taught. As time passed, he became enthusiastic about learning new things.
Three years passed.
Kaiser now had grown a little bit taller and his physique has changed a lot. Now he had thick muscles well proportioned on his small body.
Kaiser was now standing on the ground in front of Jian. He held a wooden sword and took up a stance.
He wore simple tunics shirt and trousers. His silver-white hair was tied into a ponytail. He had become more handsome with a little hint of childishness on his face.
He lived with Jian for the past three years. He became well known in the mansion where he lived with Jian. All the maids adored him as looked cute with a handsome face. He was well taken care of.
Initially, Jian didn't put much interest into his training but as the days passed he grew curious about the boy. Because of what the boy showed him, if Kaiser was given a book, he would complete reading it and will be ready with various questions. His perception skills made Jian stupefied. The speed at which he learns was unbelievable.
The dragons were known for their massive magic power. The mana can also restore faster than humans. But Kaiser, who was a human, was able to hold the cup against the mighty dragons. This was what surprised him the most.
And most of the time, Kaiser cast his spells from reading. He didn't require any guidance or learn magic on his own.
This level of talent could be seen only among dragons or elves. But to see a human kid learning and practicing the magic without any proper guidance was simply amazing.
It was like he was natural in every sense. He Had no difficulty in understanding the complex language of magic and learning the magic oneself, can only be considered a heavenly genius.
Kaiser was now holding a sword in the middle of the field. He was swinging his sword up to the head and down, straight to his abdomen.
Jian was standing with his hands folded, while a young man was standing beside him. He had red hair and wore imperial clothing.
These two stood staring at Kaiser for quite a while. The young who seemed to be in his twenties came not long ago.
"Master, will you start teaching him the sword now." the young man asked.
The young man continued, "You know he has been very persistent in learning the sword. He approached me a few times asking me to teach him about the sword."
Jian glanced at the young man and sighed.
"That brat has no patience. He is very eager to learn everything."
He sighed and continued, "Yesterday, after we had a session of our duel. He came to me and asked me to teach him the sword. He wanted to train with the sword."
"I thought he was mesmerized by the duel, he must have come to me to ask. I said to him to only focus on magic. But he was adamant and persisted in me teaching him."
He glanced at Theo, the young man who was with him.
"That is why I came here. He asked me many times to tell you to teach him." Theo smiled looking at Kaiser.
In these three years, Kaiser became close with Theo. At starting, Theo ignored him but after knowing about him and what his father did to him. He started talking with him and momentarily their bonding increased.
Kaiser started him calling big brother, when he started calling him that, Theo was emotionally connected to him. Now they were like real brothers. Theo was cold to others, didn't talk much to anyone, and isolated himself from others. He either stayed on the field, training with Jian.
"I think he will even go to mother if you won't start teaching him." Theo smiled looking at Jian.
Haa...
Jian sighed. "This little… I will show him how hard the way of the sword is." Jian said with a faint smile.
Theo narrowed his eyes looking at Jian and then shook his head.
Kaiser unaware of their talk was swinging his sword. He stayed focused on his wooden sword.
