Grace woke up in cold sweat and found Rachel sitting beside her. She immediately hugged her looking terrified. Rachel gently pats her on the back trying to calm down.
"Shhhh, it's okay, it's just a dream," Rachel said to her but Grace pulled away from her shaking her head.
"No, it's not, it's so real that I can feel everything" Grace tried to make her understand.
"It's okay come here " Rachel pulled her into another hug.
"What was your dream about?" She heard Joseph ask. She didn't even realize he was in the room until this moment.
"It's... it's. I..." Grace tried to recall the dream but her head was blank.
"It's okay if you don't remember. Don't stress yourself" Rachel tried to coat her.
"I swear I can...." Grace held her head. "Why can't I remember" she was baffled.
"I said it's okay just take some.."
"It's not okay" Joseph's deep voice made them switch their attention to him.
"Why are you trying to scare her? Let it be, it's just a dream. There's wrong if she can't remember" Rachel reprimanded him.
"That's the problem. She can't remember. We don't forget our dreams, our memories are always active. We rarely dream and we do, it's special. We can even recollect the dream in every slitted detail cause we don't dream it, we lived. That's why she's so terrified cause she just went through a horrifying incident. I just pray that none of it comes knocking at our door ". Joseph said taking a deep breath.
"Is it a bad thing that I can't remember?" Grace asked him with a confused expression.
"I don't know yet. But first we have to find out why you can't remember your dream". Joseph said walking away with Stave.
Stave was the first person to enter Grace's room. He came to call her for training this morning but was suspicious when she didn't open the door. He pushed the door opened and saw Grace thrashing around on the bed having a nightmare.
He was confused and didn't know what to do so he went downstairs to call Rachel and Joseph.

Outside of Grace's room, the two men were discussing.
"What are you thinking about?" Stave asked Joseph.
"I don't know ".
"Can it be that dreamer entered into her dream?" Stave suggested.
"Huh?". Joseph scoffed. "Those are lowly creatures they can't infiltrate guardians' dreams. Moreover, they can only alter some parts of your dreams to make you believe what they want. They can't completely make you forget". Joseph explained to him.
"Oh!" He exclam. "If not a dreamer then what do you think it is?"
"I think someone or something powerful can infiltrate a guardian dream and even have the ability to block your memories. But the problem right now is that I can't think of anything that powerful " Joseph recked his brain.
"You know she's not only a guardian but all..so..... " He shut his when Joseph gave him a deadly look.
"Look, what I meant is that, may...be it's her father. Since he's on a whole different level from what we've encountered". Stave tried to make him see his point of view.
"I understand what you're saying. Hmmm," he sighed tiredly.
"What if he's trying to connect with her".
"Then we have to find a way to prevent him from connecting with her, even in her dreams," Joseph said with all seriousness.
"Wait! What! Stave was shocked by his reply. "How on earth do you plan on stopping the devil from doing what he's best known for? And she's his daughter which means, their connection is on a whole different level".
"We have to try if not, we're all doomed
Back in the room, Rachel tried to put her back to sleep but Grace refused still feeling scared. Rachel let her rest her head on her lap while slowly stroking her hair.

"Did you find the place?". Max asked Mira and Simon.
"No, the place is just a vase field nothing is there" Simon replied.
"We need to hurry up we don't have much time," Max said.
"Why are you in haste? Aren't you the one who has been slowing us down?" Simon questions him.
"That's because I saw a guardian at the orphanage looking for her "
"The orphanage? What were you doing there?" Mira asked him.
"To find her belongings. That was when I saw the guardian talking to one of the nuns. She said her mother took her"
"But, I'm not sure she came for her herself . It will draw too much attention ".
"Does that mean she sent someone ?" Mira asked.
"Yes. But I don't know who it is. That's why we need to hurry" he said throwing a scarf on the table.
" What's this?" Mira asked looking confused.
"That's Grace's scarf. I found it in her room" Max said nonchalantly.
"Who is Grace?" Mira asked him.
"The one we are looking for"
"So there's her name, Grace!" Simon repeated.
"But, how did you get inside?" Simon was curious.
"It was clear. There was no fortification. You would have known if you have just checked it out ". He said with arrogance.
" I know, so don't act as if you've done one great deed". Simon said to him.
"Hey! Can we do the spell now?" Mira interrupted them.
They both glared at each other before facing Mira. They placed a map on the table and also lit four black candles on each side. They placed the place scarf in the middle before holding their hands together. They started enchanting a ritual. The candles burn more brighter indicating their ritual is working. When they were done they looked down at the map with high expectation.
They were confused when they saw nothing. A bright blue light was supposed to show at her location but nothing of the sort happened.
"Ho..w? What happened?" Simon was confused.
"I think she's cloaked" Mira replied.
"Yes, but at least it was supposed to point us in the direction of where she is" Simon added.
"What do you think? She is Carrissa's daughter. She must have done something that's why it has been difficult locating them for eighteen years" Mira said with a defeated look.
"So what are we going to do now?" Simon asked her.
"I don't know. There's nothing else we can do... except... him" she said looking up at Max who was busy going through his phone. Simon immediately understood what she meant and wave a sigh.
" What! Why are both you looking at me like that?" Max knew something was fishy.
Mira picked up the scarf and handed it over to Max.
" Since we can't find her using location spell. I was wondering if you can.. you know... Find her using your....".
"Hell no". Max cut her off instantly.
"Why not? This is important so you might as well cut us some slang and help out" Simon said to him. Max nearly pouched him on the face if not for Mira who stopped him.
He never liked Simon, if not for his mother who put his name on the volunteer's list. He would have been somewhere enjoying his life.
"Gosh I hate this guy," he said to himself.
"Max please, you have to help us " Mira pleaded with him.
"Fine," he said taking the scarf.
