The long camping trip....

        Becky and Aaron have been looking for Layla since they woke up.

   " Have you seen where she is". Becky asked Aaron who was still searching around to see if he can find her.

" No, I haven't seen her"

"Where will she be". She said.

    It was already 9: 00 in the morning and Layla was still sleeping in Dela's tent, she hasn't even made any attempt to wake up.

Dela didn't want to wake her up because she was sleeping so peacefully. But when he saw that she has been sleeping for soo long, he decided to wake her up.

   " Layla is okay wake up is already morning". Dela said while tapping on her leg to make her wake up.

   " Ooh leave me alone please..I wanna sleep for some time". That was what she was saying.

" Layla your parents are looking for you wake up" she woke up just by the mentioning of her parents.

    " Where are they". She woke up looking around her as if she had a bad dream.

   "Haha see how quick you are. probably I'm sure they will be looking for you, because is already 9:15 am "

    "What ". Layla said almost exclaiming.

"Hey what is wrong why are you shouting now, I thought you said you are not going anywhere right?"

    "Get lost from my way". She said and push Dela out of her way and run out.

"Hmm.. stubborn girl". Dela said and went out as well.

    "What was she doing in his room, did she spend the night there with him". Jonie became terrified when he saw Layla running out of Dela's tent. He begins to think bad about what will have happened between them that night.

   (No..no... Layla is too young for that and I don't think they will even try..what if they tried". He thought then rushed to where Dela was gathering some firewood.

     "Hey boy raise your shameful head and let me talk to you". He said when he got there. He stood a mile away from him and has folder his hands on his chest while glancing at Dela as if he looks disgusted.

    "What is it this time". Dela said still gathering the firewood.

"What was she doing in your tent last night "

"Enjoying herself "

    "What nonsense". He said releasing his hands from his chest.

    "Why what is wrong with her enjoying with me last night "

     "You are a shameful beast Dela, can't you see she is still young for that "

    "Young for what ". He said parenting not have known what he was trying to bring up.

   "Don't pretend to know what I mean boy"

"Hmmm...if she is young for that she won't have come to me then "

      "Shut up Dela, you are getting on my nerves "

"Oo I'm getting on your nerves.. haha did I come to you this morning ". He said when he was up standing with the fire woods in his arms.

     "See here young boy, we are all too young for what you are trying to talk about.  So don't you dare try it on her". Then he went away leaving him dumbfounded.

    ( You this little witch..hmm). He kicks the sand with his legs. But he is soo unlucky to kick a stone rather.

   "Aoshi!!!..mmm.. this... this hurt". He said while holding his leg and jumping away with his hurt toes.

   Layla went to her parent's tent and wash down quickly before her parents entered again.

"Where were you, my dear". Her mother asked.

      "We have been looking for you all around but couldn't find you, where were you". Her father also added with his worried face.

  "Well dad, mom I spend the night with my friends".  She said while drying her wet curly hair.

   "Okay, my dear but you should have told us before going". Her mother said and took the dryer from her hands and begin to dry her wet hair for her.

    "I'm sorry if I made you worried"

"No need my dear".

   "Okay honey if she is here then I will be out for some walk". her father said and went out of their tent.

   He walked a little far from their hearing to make a call.

"Hello.."

     "Yes boss"

"Yh Good morning "

     "Fine sir "

"How is everything this morning "

    "Good boss"

"Okay how is he doing "

     "He is doing fine "

"Has he woken up yet"

     "Yes sir "

"Make sure you give him something to eat then you ask him to speak anything he knows about who sent him"

    "Roger that "

"Okay then bye"

    "Okay, sir bye ".

He ends the call. Just then he had another call from his office.

   "What is it, John ". 

"Sir please you need to come to the office right now "

     "Why what happened "

"The meeting you told us to postpone the other day, they are already here with their documents and everything asking for your present now..they are saying if they don't meet you they are going to cancel the contract with you"

     "What nonsense is that, didn't I tell you to postpone it "

    "I did sir"

"Now what... okay prepare for it I will be there within a minute". He said and rushed back to his tent to inform his family about it.

  John had been Aaron assistant for soo many years and still he was because he was trustworthy and also a trustful person.  He was also a hard worker, he doesn't play with his work at all.  Sometimes unless Aaron has given him a break before he will still back at home. All the time he sticks to his work.

      He had one son with his wife and was expecting another newborn baby within a few months but he was still with his work as if that was what he was born to do all his life.

   When Aaron saw that his wife was pregnant again and his husband can't take care of her because of his work, he find a maid for his wife in other to be able to stay alone in her house without doing soo many things.

That alone makes him work overtime for him because of his kindness and love.

    "Darling I'm sorry but I don't think I can still stay with you here till the end of your camping". Aaron told his daughter Layla when he was done making the call and rushed back to the tent.

    "But dad why". She said holding her dad's hand.

"Dear I got a very important meeting to attend too that is why.  You know if I have the time I will spend it with you". He said and tapped on her shoulder to calm her.

    "Honey don't worry dad will be back after the meeting ". Her mother said, trying to make her look happy for her face has drown down as if her world was coming to an end.

She truly likes playing with her father and now that her father was going it makes her look bored.

She had already made plans with her father for the day and now he was going.

    "Dad promise to come back"

She said and hug her father.

   "I promise my dear". He said and went out.

He didn't even bother to take his bath for he was really in hurry.

       It wasn't like he need their money besides he had all that he need, he just wants to work with them because they were friends with Peggy back in school. He was thinking that maybe he can get to know where Peggy is or something like that.  He went and took his can and drove off.

    (Where is Layla's father going by this time)  Jonie who was sitting on a bench just a mile away from their tent ask himself.

He was still in pain and was using an ice pack to cool the pain down.

    Dela was done fetching the fire woods, he was gathering them for the night so that if Layla come to his place she won't feel cold. He begin to gather them earlier before Layla will come to ask him plenty of questions about what he was going to do with the firewoods.

    He quickly hide the woods under his bed when he saw Layla coming to him.

She was holding in her hands a small basket that looks like there was something in it.

  "Breakfast, breakfast". She said singing a song for the breakfast she was going to give to Dela. Her mother made a lot of breakfast and asked her to share it with her friends.

   She was just coming from Jonie's place, she went to give him his and was now on Dela.  For her other friends, they had already had theirs and they were happily enjoying themselves out on the seashores. They were happy that day because their parents were coming to be with them for the time being.

   " Hey you, haven't you seen me ". She said still holding the basket in her hands.

"Miss please will you tell me why you are here ". He said sounding like he doesn't know why she was there with the basket.

" So are you telling me that you don't why I'm here.. okay then bye I'm going with the food " Layla said and pretend to walk away thinking that will stop her, but to her outermost surprise, he even went inside his tent .

    "Hey, slim man come outside and eat your food or else..."   She said shouting.

   "Or else you will eat it right"  he came out of the tent and took the food from her hands and went back in.

"Hey wait ". Layla said and push him inside, making him lose his balance and was about to fall together with the basket when Layla hold his hands from falling. he thought Layla was going to bring him up but he was dead wrong she took the basket from his hands and he fall on his back.

    "Ooww..no.." he falls with his back on the floor and his legs in the air.

  "Oops sorry I thought saving the food will be better than the one who is about to eat. And besides, he doesn't even want to eat"

Layla stood there and was laughing at Dela who was still on the floor.

      "You see how wicked you are". Dela said conspiratorially while struggling to get up. 

   "Ooh please I'm not, I just saved what I wanted and what is wrong with that".  She smiled with her eyelids lowered. Layla then put the basket somewhere and went to help him get up.  She held his hands to let him raised up but unfortunately for her she ended up falling while Dela was suspended on her.

   "So you see your life, like it says the evil man does, surely live after him". He said with a wink and got himself up from her.

   ( Wow.. what just happened...his lips were soo close to mine and I could barely breathe because of his sweet scent).  She thought to herself.

  " Foolish girl what are you thinking, aren't you too young to be saying that.. idiot". She said while she keeps on hitting her forehead with her index finger. She almost forgot that Dela was still watching her.

   "Were you saying something"? Dela said with an ingratiating smile.

   " No, I didn't say anything ". She got up to walk away but Dela held her hands and said to her.

"Layla doesn't ever try this on me in the next six years ahead of us or else you will end on my bed". He whispered into her ears with a wicked smile.

she run off there quickly and went to where her friends where. along the where she was going, she will recollect what just happened between them .
