The past of Collins

"The night was cold as all the villagers went to their hut one by one. I looked through my windows to confirm that all the kids had gone back to their hut before I went back to my bed. It was fun playing with them, I thought. Immediately I laied my head down to sleep, I heard a sharp scream from the next hut behind our hut..what was happening I thought.

     The next thing I heard was all the villagers screaming and crying from their hut. My father came out of his room and dragged me to his room together with my siblings.

  What is going on dad? I asked but he remained quite. Then my mom begin to cry.

  "Don't worry Collins... everything will be fine". She assured me but she still was crying.

You are crying mom...if everything will be fine like you are saying then why are you still crying? I asked and she also remain quiet as we all heard a strong and deep foot steps getting closer and closer to us..

  Who is it? I asked but my dad dragged me to his side and covered my mouth with his strong palm which left me dumb so I kept quiet.

"Is there anyone in this house?". Someone asked behind the door and we all remain quiet not ready to talk.

  "Okay..if there is no one in this house then..I will have to destroy it then!". Then thunder struck casted through the hut and it begin to burn.

  On seeing that, my father gathered us and tried teleporting us to somewhere more safety but he had already had a fight with a beast which tried to kill the villagers and had defeated it but it also deactivated some of his powers so he was weak in his inner self.

    My mother also tried but failed because she just came birth to my last brother just a week ago and had still not recovered fully.

    So my elderly brother tried and he got us out of the hut to the river side which wasn't far away from the village though.

  " I can't get you people far". He said as he fell to the ground breathing heartlessly.

  " Why?". My mother asked.

" I don't know but...I...I.. feel like my powers are being deactivated". He said and looked around him while laying down on the ground.

     I was only five years old and my powers hadn't been matured yet so I couldn't possibly do anything. I stood still behind my father while my little brother was wrapped in a calico, looking tiny as a star in my mother's arms.

  Suddenly a black wolf appeared behind us with it was another wolves.

     I got scared that instant and unfortunately I slipped off from where I was standing into the river.

   I tried all my possible best and swim unto the another side of the river where I stood and watched my families being killed by that Drake and his idiots which I  got to know a years later. Since I was the only kind left from that supernatural realm, he used me for years.

      I got the opportunity to run away when the heir to the throne of pure magic powers was unveiled. Because of his greedness, he left me alone in his big house one day when he got the news and that was the opportunity I got run away from his hands.

      I couldn't think of any other place then Asian. That was where I had my freedom untill he found me again and started using me again because I was afraid of him. But Hosea made me believe that, is not always about being scared about something, but also trying to fight it to see if you can break through". Collins narrated all about his past to Lisa as tears run down her cheeks.

  "I'm sorry for bringing you back to your past. If I had no I won't have brought you back. You don't worry tomorrow morning, I will summon Hosea here so that you will see her and also ask her if you can go with her to South Korea again ". Lisa said as a smile appeared on her lips.

  " Hmm.. thanks for that". Collins said and stood up.

  " I will get going then". He said.

" Okay ". Lisa opened the door for him and he went out as she also locked the door and went to sleep.

Collins couldn't sleep all night till the sun break through the darkness and made it way to the sky. He stood up and had his bath before he went out from his hut.

  "Good morning.. ". Lisa greeted him and placed the basket she was holding down to the table next to them.

  " Morning...how was your night?". He asked and sat down.

" It was good". Lisa replied with a smile.

"How about yours?". She asked and also took her seat .

  " Ooh..it.. was I mean good ". He said.

"Are you sure?..why do I feel like you are lying?". Lisa asked and raffle his hair.

"Ooh..I'm not lying ". He said.

"Okay then...let have breakfast then I summon Hosea here ". Lisa said and Collins mood beamed.

" Yeah..".

When they were done with their breakfast, Lisa stood up and packed the things and went with them to their hut. She returned back with a glass of water.

" Here, hold it for me". She handed it over to Collins then sat down and closed her eyes. She opened them again and they were blue as the water flew from the cup and surrounded around her.

"Hosea... Hosea...Hosea!". Just then Hosea appeared behind her.

" Hey, girl..what happened..who is worrying you.. where are they..huh". She kept on talking and turning around until Lisa tapped her shoulders and made her sat down before she realized that Collins was even there.

" Collins!..wow ..you are well..aww.. come over here". Collins stood up and gave her a hug while Lisa stood there watching them.

"Okay guys, I think I may excuse myself now" Lisa said and was about to go when Hosea stopped her from going.

"Where do you think you are going?..you called me here and now you want to go where... come and tell me why you called me over". She said.

Lisa smiled as Collins also smirked.

"Okay..well I called you over because Collins wanted to see you . And I also remembered that you told me I shouldn't allow him to come over there as for now". Lisa said.

"Yeah Collins..I told her that ". Hosea said.

"But why.. shouldn't I come there now?". Collins asked.

"I no you are not of bad intentions..but since you allowed yourself to be used by that Drake again, everyone in the pure realm think that you are part of his people. You know I can't possibly do anything about it for I'm just a guardian of Dela the heir to the throne of pure magic". Hosea said.

" So..what has that gotten to do with me coming there?". Collins asked in a confused tone.

" Hmm... although I and the rest think that you are a good person, Aunty Maggie and Rollins think you are part of Drake people..so as for now we want to clear your name from those bad people they thought you are part.. that is why I'm saying you should be here for the time being ". Hosea said, assuring him on that.

"Hmmm... okay I have heard you...but please where is Drake and his people now?". Collins asked.

" Well everyone.. I mean all those dark realms had been locked up in a time loop for thousand years..so in the next thousand years to come either they will come out or they may be dead as at that time...so we are still making preparation to meet them in the next thousand years... which means we have to end all their mission once and for all ". Hosea explained to him.

"Okay...that explains why I haven't been having all those bad dreams again ". Collins said.

" what dreams are you talking about?". Hosea asked.

" while ever since Drake started using my body and powers, I had always had a bad dreams about my past and future...the future is always horrible then the past which makes me scared all the time ". Collins said and bowed.

" hmm.. don't worry is all over as at now okay". Hosea assured him.

" okay thanks for visiting me". Collins said.

" You welcome ". Hosea said.

"But please make sure you talk on my behalf for me ". Collins said as Hosea disappeared into the thin air.

" Hey..you, thanks for calling her for me". Collins said to Lisa who was already leaving to the hut.

" You welcome ". she said and went away.
