A Multifaced Attack

Yuuka had just blown off the radio, in front of his subordinates who were startled by his actions, and had no words. A mood of silence ensued.

"I know, what I have done. The purpose of radio is now complete. He has the information, we need. We can discuss our next actions."

Levi instantly rebutted Yuuka's words.

"Are you sure, you have done the right thing? I mean, our army is still stuck on the front, they haven't reached us yet. How are we supposed to communicate after this?"

Levi came up with a concrete argument, Yuuka and his forces were now disconnected. The battle was won but most of the army was still in the front, and they would just be cut out from the front.

"We could have used them to get our messages to the front ones, they seemed like they were going to cooperate by all means."

"I also thought about that personally but They gave me a message."

"A message."

"A morse code. I heard some cracking in the background. They are quite symmetric actually, so the idea of it being a Morse code came to me."

"What message did he give you?"

"It was just, "Beware"."

"Beware? Why did they tell you this?"

Being wary of something is not anything special to tell your enemy I the battlefield but the person specifically gave it as a Morse code in between the words. Meaning they had to have a hidden motive beside them.

"I don't know. but what I know is that they'll help us out anyway, because without us they can't get out of the castle."

"They are trapped there?"

"I am sure of it. They can enter reality but leaving the castle isn't an easy task since everybody is on high alert now. They cannot escape without the soldiers having a major distraction and they depend on me for that."

"So, they are dancing the palm of your hands. we can exploit this."

"Sure, but we'll need to beware of an attack. the enemy has the upper hand in terms of stealth and weapon technology. They have a gun that can shoot any of us from this form of the castle."

"Such weapons exist?!!!"

It was a moment of utter shock, they were at least 1000m meters away from the walls and there was a weapon that could hit them with that complete precision.

It was a weapon truly to be feared on its own but the addition of the enemy's stealth makes it an invincible object.

"We should move our location, fast!"

"Don't get too hasty, They won't kill any of them currently. Our existence saves them, we are losing this. Lynx wins and they can't stop Lynx on their own."

"..."

Yuuka's words weren't very reassuring for anyone, they didn't know when the enemy could change their mind and if they did it would it be over for them.

"We will still be trying to capture the capital and looking for the queen simultaneously, both are needed for a complete victory."

"!!!'

Another bombshell just dropped on the soldiers by their commander, they were still fighting for the capital while the enemy leader was somewhere else. It was nowhere logical to do so or was it?

"Why should we be doing that? We can capture the queen and make the people inside the capital surrender to us by showing them, the captured leader."

Vincent was the one who presented his opinion this time, he was not sure why was Yuuka taking such an approach.

"I won't repeat my words, If we need to win we to capture the enemy leader and win over the capital. Trust me on this one."

Yuuka paid no heed to any advice or talk and ended the whole conversation with his signature phrase, "Trust me". As his insane-looking plans always brought some results.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was Yuuka's words which were brought to him, in a meeting which happened a few days ago.

He remembered meeting with Frey, in his barracks to discuss his strategies and attacks, he was given this message by Frey about the people of Lynx.

"I have seen most of your strategies, they seem to be quite straightforward and aggressive but try to be more passive them you usually are. Lynx's people are more aggressive than any other man in the world."

"The capital of the old capital's province must be aggressive and filled with pride, it's no unusual thing."

"I know that much is basic knowledge but the real reason is what the people of Horizon are."

"You still call the capital by its name but it goes by a different name too."

"Ya, it changed name twice when we grew up, it was named Prismal before the Civil War but it was assumed to be called Horizon by many of the rebels. So, I still call it by that name although the city doesn't have much of any name left."

Frey was an old man, Yuuka still didn't know what that man had seen in his life that Yuuka was still missing and needed to know.

"I was telling you when you attack, you need to win Horizon and capture the leader too, The people won't give in until both of them are done."

"Why, So?"

"It's Asina's daughter we are talking about, he was a man who believed kingdoms should be able to function even after the king fell and his daughter wouldn't be much different. They won't give up until they lose the battle themselves and the people of the kingdom won't give up until they lose their king and Capital both."

'It will certainly be a hard task."

This would be easy for no one, Asina was also known for his tactics of losing the battle to win the war. If he is the one who gets that 'one' deciding victory he is ready to give everything.

While it looks like something every tactician would do, only some held the power and mind to hold off themselves till their breaking points.

"It sure will."

Yuuka knew if he needed to win, there were two places, he needed to conquer the Capital city and Queen's Pride.

Standing on the battlefield we would soon start to do both at the same time.
