Settling in

"Kasumi?" Ayame heard Kasumi's voice, but she was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly her head poked around a corner from a hallway. Her hair was quite messy and bags were visible under her eyes indicating she had a rough night.

"You're here!" Kasumi's face lit up and ran up to Ayame, giving her a hug. However, due to their height, Ayame got smothered by Kasumi's chest.

"H-hey." Ayame muffled voice echoed out prompting Kasumi to loosen her grip as she realised what she was doing.

"Heh." Tomoe wore a smug grin as her head was other places and fully supported what was happening.

"I'm glad you are all safe." Although Kasumi had spoken to Ayame a week prior, finally seeing her in person allowed Kasumi to fully relax.

"It's also good to see you're okay." Ayame felt like this was too intimate, but she couldn't complain and even enjoyed it, so she hugged back. Kasumi was a little shocked that Ayame reciprocated the hug, but it only made Kasumi want to protect her more.

"Ahem, you too can have your private time later." Tomoe needed to get back to the shrine and although she would love to get more material to tease Ayame with, they needed to get her settled in.

"Oi!" Ayame turned her head and glared at Tomoe as now she was making it weird between them. Kasumi wasn't bothered by what Tomoe said and even slightly smiled while letting go of Ayame.

"Well, let's head into our room and get your stuff unpacked." Kasumi having arrived early had already organised her stuff and was half the reason why she looked so dishevelled.

Ayame grabbed the suitcases that she let go of when she got the surprise hug and followed Kasumi as well as Tomoe.

Walking through Ayame got a better look at the apartment and the kind of place she will be living in. Upon entry, they were in a dining area with a kitchen opposite it. Further in was a living room that lead out to a balcony with a nice view of a park. The place was already fitted with an L-shaped couch and TV.

In between the kitchen and living room was a hallway that lead to 4 rooms. One side was the bathroom and laundry with the other 2 rooms being bedrooms. However, the bedrooms were quite big, making it seem like 2 people could be in one room. Then it hit her as she saw the grin appear on Tomoe's face.

"So you sleeping together or are you each taking a room?" Tomoe quickly put on an innocent face like she was genuinely asking a question, but Ayame saw the devious look under the mask.

"That's up to her, personally I don't mind. Never slept with a friend before." Kasumi grabbed her chin thinking about sleeping with Ayame and didn't mind the idea.

"Let me see the room first." Ayame opened the door to the second room and inside was a completely bare room with no furniture. And the one thing Ayame didn't bring was something to sleep in as she assumed there would be a bed. She also figure she would most likely still visit and stay at the shrine during holidays so the bed stayed at the shrine.

"Wait, this isn't a 2 bedroom-fitted apartment…" It clicked in Ayame's head as the apartments are meant for only one person, but give you the choice to invite a second person. However, it didn't mean the second room would be a bedroom.

"It did say on the sight that there is an extra room intended for projects and just space to do things in." Kasumi remembered the details about the place as it did say 2 bedrooms, but in the description, it also said the second bedroom is a recreation room.

"Well looks like I'm sleeping on the floor." Ayame accepted her fate, but before she could walk into the room Kasumi grabbed Ayame's wrist.

"Oh come on, my bed is big enough for both of us, plus the room is set up for two people." Dragging Ayame into the first bedroom, revealing a massive bedroom. Up against the wall was a dark purple and black queens size bed. In the corner by a window was a desk with the other corner completely free.

Another feature Ayame noticed was the double wardrobe that took up half the wall. Unless Kasumi had hundreds of clothes there was no way to fully use the space. It was also apparent that the room was set up in a way that allowed for two beds, but Kasumi filled it with a big bed.

"Did you plan for me to sleep in here?" Ayame was extremely suspicious and wondered if Tomoe was in on this as well.

"No not at all, I did expect us to be in the same room, but not bed." Kasumi of course didn't want to make Ayame uncomfortable, so ultimately it was whatever she chose.

"Hmmm…" Ayame fell silent and thought about the situation for a moment.

'Why am I being so stingy… it is embarrassing but surely there isn't anything wrong with it.' Ayame relied on her knowledge of manga a little too much causing her to think nefarious things would happen.

*Sigh* "Fine." Ayame caved in as she saw no harm and if Kasumi did have ill intentions Tomoe most likely would have jumped in.

Ayame didn't know exactly how powerful Tomoe was, but she definitely was someone who could easily beat Kasumi.

"Great! Let's get all you're stuff organised." Kasumi's face lit up glad that Ayame trusted her enough.

After 30 minutes of unpacking all of Ayame's clothes and belongings, Tomoe went out and brought a desk. She also got a bookshelf for Ayame to put her books on since she couldn't live without her manga.

While Ayame and Kasumi were finishing up putting clothes away, Ayame found the pair of lingerie she stole in her bag.

'Fuck.' She almost verbally screamed out but she was able to keep calm and avoided attracting Kasumi's attention.

'Good thing the wardrobe has draws in it.' Ayame found out the wardrobe doors were on wheels that revealed 3 draws then a bar to hang clothes on. Most of her clothes were already folded up and put in the drawers, but the issue was… She had barely any clothes. There was not enough to put underneath and had to rely on Kasumi not opening the draws.

'I bet she will do the washing without any hesitation.' Ayame figured that Kasumi would do house chores which would eventually lead her to find the lingerie.

"Is everything else just you're books and regular things?" Kasumi finished putting in the last of Ayame's clothes in one of the draws.

"Yep, we may as well take them out since Mum will be coming back with a desk and bookcase." Ayame took this opportunity to distract Kasumi with more unpacking and walked over to the draws.

Opening up the second draw which was her underwear draw she realised it would blend in rather well since also her stockings were in there.

'I can hide the black ones under them.' Pulling them out while keeping a keen eye out she hid the lingerie under her stockings and successfully didn't draw any attention.

'Phew now let's hope she doesn't find it.' With one scare down, now they were waiting on Tomoe to return back with some more furniture.

However, it wouldn't be long as suddenly a ring of fire appeared in the centre of the room.

What came with it was Tomoe and the furniture she went to go buy.

Kasumi and Ayame both were startled by the sudden ring of fire, but once they saw Tomoe, they calmed down.

"Since when could you teleport wherever you want?" Ayame didn't think it was possible, but it only proved to Ayame that Tomoe is not someone you piss off.

"Oh, I put a marker down but it's so small you can't see it." Explaining how she did it, made sense since being able to teleport anywhere seemed a little too broken.

"Anyway here is your new desk and bookshelf." Tomoe got to moving them right away and with ease lifted the desk into the corner. She even also got an office chair which seemed really expensive.

"How much did that chair cost?" Ayame couldn't help but ask as it looked like the $2000 chairs.

"Secret~." Tomoe didn't say a word causing Ayame to pout, but it didn't bother her too much since she could find out later.

Once the desk and shelf were in place, it was Tomoe's cue to leave as she was pushing time.

"Time for me to leave, I'll take the empty cases and leave this one just in case you need it.." Tomoe saw that most things were packed away and it was just one last suitcase.

"Alright, thanks Mum." Ayame was grateful for her help as Tomoe made moving 10 times quicker.

"Please take care and if anything happens call me, I will also send you a message when things come up." Tomoe gave Ayame a hug while talking in her ear and with one last parting gift, Tomoe kissed Ayame's forehead.

"I will." Ayame hugged back tightly not wanting to let go, but the time had come.

"Looks after my daughter Kasumi and don't be too rough." Tomoe pulled away and gave Kasumi a few words before winking and clicking her fingers. Vanishing on the spot with the empty suitcases, it was now only Kasumi and Ayame left in the room.
