Ayame a shrine maiden by day and an assassin by night. Living in a modern world where society runs like normal, she must hide her identity as a half-fox and assassin.



Being contracted by the government and clients who are willing to pay a high enough price. Ayame uses the powers that are bestowed upon her by the gods to carry out these missions.



Tomoe, Ayame's foster mother who runs the shrine as well as manages her assassin contracts decides to send her to university. Not wanting to confine Ayame to the shrine for the rest of her life uses some funds that were put aside to send her out. However, during one of Ayame's missions, she encountered a mysterious woman who has taken an interest in her.



This woman also happens to be looking into attending the same university as Ayame. However, Since this woman knows Ayame's secret, she went and befriended her. Although the woman seems untrustworthy, she forced her way into Ayame's life which made it apparent that the woman actually wanted to escape her life at home.



Ayame now having a friend attending the same University, now has to balance out her normal life with her assassin job. But during all this, in the background and the missions she takes, she slowly gets roped into more of the underworld's business. Even though she doesn’t know it the person closest to her may turn out to be part of a big operation and Ayame walks right into the middle of it.
