Project "Anxiety"

Daisy can't help but cry as she hears Edward's words ringing in her head. She entered the classroom with her head hung low and took her normal seat. After her, Edward followed and sat down next to Daisy in his normal spot.

She was uneasy because she occasionally felt eyes staring in her direction, which makes her anxious. As her teacher was about to enter the classroom, she shook off the feeling of being watched and concentrated on the white board in front of her. She silently prayed that she wouldn't make a scene today because she didn't want to embarrass herself further in front of Edward.

While Daisy's legs were trembling beneath the table, Edward was doing his best to maintain his composure. However, he was powerless to intervene now that he had done what he had.

The teacher arrived, was welcomed by everyone, gave a lesson, and now is the time Daisy has been thinking about since last Saturday but lost all of that fervour after meeting Edward in the morning. Her internal dialogue was consuming her.

He considered me to be a drama queen.

He also thinks I'm strange.

He too hurted me.

He shared the same traits as everyone else.

He too...

When her Teacher called Edward and her to the front for a project discussion, she was forced to stop what she was doing. Edward's deadpan eyes caught hers as she turned her head.

Great..

She pondered, "First he hit me with that poker face, then he was all caring, and then he turned into a smug git who called me a drama queen knowing damn well how easily I got anxious, but wait, I wasn't anxious then when talking to Edward, so that doesn't matter because I am anxious now and he's giving me a dead pan look," she thought. Terrific Edward Leo, Terrific.

Moving to the front of the classroom, she pushes her annoying thoughts out of her head while oblivious to the fact that Edward is standing directly behind her. She thanked her teacher and wrote "Edward Leo" in the transcript alongside her partner's name.

They were given the project "Social anxiety and measures to control it" by their teacher.

Seriously?

Daisy had that thinking. On the other side, Edward was smiling covertly. When Daisy's teacher saw her in a stunned state, she questioned, "Daisy, is everything alright? Did you like the topic? I have faith in you two to gather the most useful information on this."

"Yes, sir, that was a really wise choice. The students were also a great choice." Daisy sarcastically retorted. To suppress his snoring, Edward, who was standing behind Daisy, squeezed his lips between his teeth.

I already knew that, so excellent, now work hard on this project with me; the deadline is in two weeks.

Both partners simultaneously responded, "Noted, Sir." Daisy turned to look at Edward angrily, but he gave her a reassuring nod, which caused her mouth to widen and her pupils to enlarge. She quickly turned her head to the teacher and excused themselves.

The moment Edward disguised her smile while sitting in their normal spot, Daisy sent him a glare and remarked, "We are gathering our data individually."

Daisy, however, interrupted Edward and interrupted herself by saying, "I will email you data and you may compile it, end of discussion."
