Team work

After a long, exhausting travel, Daisy slept soundly that night, experiencing a deep sense of comfort and a sense of being embraced. The day was exhausting for her because it began with her encounter with Marcel, was followed by a chance encounter with Edward and some time spent with him to ease her anxiety, an emotional outburst at Marcel in front of the women's restroom, the discovery of a new shade of Edward, a project topic assignment, avoidance of Edward, a cricket match, Edward's protection of her, Edward's smile, and last but not least, some time spent talking with Edward, which resolved everything.

She thought the day was wonderful. She completed her chores and assignments. She will begin working on their assignment tomorrow, which she was somewhat looking forward to.

The following day came, and they both met up at their respective locations. When class started, Edward joined Daisy in her seat. Due of the history lecture's tremendous lack of interest, Daisy was rather bored during class. Although she received good grades in it, history was always her least favourite class. Nevertheless, she always felt queasy as soon as she opened the text book.

She was not alone in feeling this way because 40 minutes had gone and her mind was now entirely occupied. She began to hang her head low, rest it on her forearm, and drift off to her dream world as her eyelids grew heavy. Edward was calmly watching her, as if he were witnessing every move she made.

Daisy scowled when she was asleep, which prompted Edward to investigate. Daisy was frowning in anger as he observed the light flowing in from the window to his right hitting directly at her face. As he put his book in front of Daisy's face to block off the sun, Edward gave her a tender glance. Daisy's scowl was gone as she grinned while sleeping, warming Edward's heart. Edward allowed the fluttering in his tummy to cause him to smile while allowing his lips to twitch. The teacher nodded in disappointment to his students before turning around and adjourning the class.

Daisy appeared to take a 30-minute snooze before she awoke, rubbed her eyes, and grumbled a smile at Edward with her lips pursed. While straightening his posture and emerging from his daze, Edward was internally yelling at Daisy's cuteness.

They made the decision to stay after school for an additional hour to discuss projects. The issue now was choosing an appropriate location for investigation.

Daisy said, "I guess we should go to the library," but Edward looked to be having a hard time responding.

Daisy responded with a scowl that had softened after hearing Edward's subsequent statements. "As exams draw near, there will be a lot of students in the library. Additionally, our topic calls for a quiet and loud conversation, which is impossible in a library. The main problem is that you can feel uneasy with so many pupils. So let's head to the cafe next to the school where we can feel at ease. Is that how it sounds?"

Daisy agreed, saying, "Yeah, it's a very amazing concept." They walked side by side as they each made their way to the cafe in quiet ease. By bringing up the subject of the presentation, Edward tried to catch people off guard.

"So, after being close to you for about a month, I have noticed some of your social anxiety symptoms". "So, what did you notice?" Daisy asked after becoming agitated about the subject.

Edward said, "Here," and gave Daisy a parchment. "These are the indicators I observed; you can read them to determine whether there is a problem or not." Daisy glanced towards Edward while studying the parchment.

Daisy's eyes widen as she tries to continue reading and she immediately turned to Edward and questioned, "Do you conduct research? You made too many notes. Did you seek assistance online for this?" "Nope," "Was simply Edward replied, flashing her the same smug smile he had earlier. the same arrogance that she thought was flirtatious. Then how, she questioned, "From my partner," blushing. Daisy stopped in her tracks as Edward cocked his head in response, and she gave him a fierce flush ""Oh come on, that's how team work is done, one partner helping other with their problems," he smirked in response to the question "what do you mean look." "Is it not? You are also my partner, right? Daisy".

There stood Daisy flushed deeply looking up at Edward shyly and replied, "Yes I am, Edward".

Edward satisfied with the answer, raised his hand to pat her head causing Daisy to close her eyes.

"Good response, little one."
